Die Verpressung der Doppelwandung in ihrem Kontaktbereich ist jedoch nur dann wasserdicht, wenn ein größerer Preßdruck angewendet wird. Damit ist der Vorteil verbunden, daß der bei einem aus einem Rohr gefertigten Kabelschuh gegebene Zusammenhang zwischen dem Rohrdurchmesser und der Breite der Anschlußlasche aufgelöst ist. Das bedeutet, daß mit dem Tiefziehen ein Rohr mit Bereichen unterschiedlichen Durchmessers herstellbar ist. Wenn dann der Bereich größeren Durchmessers zum Flachdrücken der Anschlußlasche dient, fällt diese breiter aus, als wenn der Bereich kleineren Durchmessers flachgedrückt werden würde. Das bedeutet, daß ein Kabelschuh, der durch Crimpen mit einer Leitung kleineren Durchmessers verbunden werden soll, eine Anschlußlasche ausreichender Breite erhalten kann.
