Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist eine Maschine zum Einhängen von gehefteten Buchblocks in Deckel. Die Maschine ist derart eingerichtet, dafs der mit dem Deckel zu verbindende Buchblock mittels eines auf- und abbeweglichen Trägers, auf welchen der Buchblock mit aufwärts gekehrtem Rücken aufgehängt wird, zwischen Klebstoff führende Platten gebracht und von diesen mit Klebstoff versehen wird, während der über dem Buchblock in flacher Lage auf entfernbaren Stützen aufgelegte Deckel nach dem Auftragen von Klebstoff auf den Buchblock durch Entfernung der Stützen freigegeben wird und alsdann auf den Buchblock herabfällt, so dafs seine Seitentheile sich gegen die mit Klebstoff versehenen Seitentheile des Buchblocks anlegen. Der Buchblock kann alsdann mit dem Deckel aus der Maschine herausgenommen werden, worauf eine endgültige Vereinigung des Deckels mit dem Buchblock durch Pressen oder sonst geeignete Vorrichtungen bewirkt wird. Sämmtliche Arbeitsvorgänge der Maschine können durch die Auf- und Abwärtsbewegung des Buchblockträgers selbsttätig veranlafst werden.The present invention relates to a machine for hanging staples Book blocks in cover.
