The object of the invention is to provide a method for producing a binder liquor which requires as little equipment as possible and with which a binder liquor can be provided which reduces the water absorption and thickness swelling of wood-based materials in comparison to conventional binder liquors. This object is achieved in that solid deposits, which form from vapors (9) during steam drying of wood, wood chips or wood fibers, are added to the binder liquor or wood comminution products.
Description
The invention relates to a method for the production of a binder fleet for wood-to-wood bonds as well the use of during deposits obtained by steam drying.
Wood materials, such as chipboard, OSB boards, or fiberboard, are made by using wood shavings, strands or wood fibers glued with a binder and optionally dries, sprinkles into chip or fiber mats and then hot pressed. As a rule, in the wood-based panel industry Aminoplast resins, such as urea and urea-melamine-formaldehyde resins, Phenol formaldehyde resins and adhesives based on polymeric diisocyanates or mixed resins used. To a small extent also tannin formaldehyde resins and strengths used in unmodified and modified form as a binder. Other binders based on renewable raw materials are lignins, Proteins and carbohydrates, mainly on their own or in combination with other binders in special board types.
The binders are in the wood materials mainly as watery Glue liquor used in the consistency range between 40% - 60%. Powdery binders are prepared as an aqueous solution in this range of consistency. In the preparation of of the binder liquor Additives are added and the pH to the desired one Level can be set.

An essential quality feature A chipboard and medium density fiberboard (MDF) is the extent of it Thickness swelling in water and moist air. The one for thickness swelling Limit values stipulated by MDF are usually so low that with conventional binder doses without the addition of water repellents can hardly be complied with. For Hydrophobization is usually used in industry as technical paraffins used.
Object of the present invention is to provide a process for making a fleet of binders, where one as possible little equipment required and with which a fleet of binders can be provided, which the water absorption and thickness swelling of wooden materials in Compared to conventional Binder fleets reduced.
According to the invention, this object solved, that solid deposits that come out of vapors during steam drying of wood, wood shavings or wood fibers, which are added to the binder liquor.
When drying wood or wood chips Wood ingredients with high value creation potential, such as B. Terpenes, waxes or resins, with the superheated steam in the form of vapors (water vapor-air mixture) released. The condensates of the vapors have a high chemical or biological oxygen demand and therefore cannot be left untreated be derived. With the conventional drying process with Exhaust gas from a burner is also due to the higher oxidation potential thermal-chemical degradation of the active substances is to be expected.
Steam drying is advantageously carried out in a closed cycle. Advantageously, the vapors for steam drying in a closed circuit at 350 ° C - 550 ° C on the Wood chips or Wood fibers acted on, creating original wood ingredients with a high value creation potential the wood chips or wood fibers are released. These differ through condensation on the wall of the drying device, preferably a rotary tube dryer, and solidify on cooling of the rotary tube. The wood chips are heated to about 90 ° C during drying, the residence time in the drying device is about 10 - 30 min. By the district leadership the deposits are preserved without the application of additional energy, thereby improving the economics of the process. The Circle leadership steam drying also has an effect on conventional drying Concentration of the wood constituents in the vapors.
The steam drying of wood, wood shavings and wood fibers in a closed circuit creates solid deposits that become a binder or wood shredder in solution or as a powder products added in the manufacture of wood-based materials. Until now, the deposits had to be disposed of as waste at a charge, by adding the ground or dissolved deposits to the binder liquor, the residues from the wood drying process can be used profitably.
The procedure is described below closer to the only figure explained. The figure shows a scheme of steam drying chips.

Tabelle 2: Physikalisch-technologische Eigenschaften von Tanninformaldehydharz-gebundenen mitteldichten Faserplatten (MDF) Table 2 below shows that the tannin-formaldehyde resin-bonded MDF, which was produced from the chip drying with the addition of solubilized deposits, compared to those which were bonded with tannin-formaldehyde resin without additional deposits, shows a significantly lower thickness swell after both Have hours as well as after 24 hours of water storage. The thickness swelling was up to 14 times less than for plates with a mixing water for the tannin without deposits additive. The water absorption also decreased significantly by about 1/4 compared to the use of mixing water for the tannin without the addition of sediment. Table 2: Physical-technological properties of tannin-formaldehyde resin-bound medium-density fiberboard (MDF)
There were also better values for the flexural strength and the transverse tensile strength, when using mimosatannin and a mixing water solution with deposits even after the cooking test gave values that correspond to the norm corresponded. With regard to the thickness swelling it should be noted that no water repellents are used in plate production so that at least when using mimosatannin the Standard values met were. By adding the deposits, the swelling of the thickness can be avoided the plates can be reduced when stored in water, resulting in savings leads to the addition of water repellents. If necessary, binders saved and the pressing time can be reduced. The quality of the fiberboard could use the deposit from the chip drying economical elevated become. The use of the deposits in the tannin formaldehyde resin had no influence on the formaldehyde content (perforator value) of the medium density Fiberboard and on the release of volatile acids (acetic or formic acid).
They leave conventional binders Binders such as Urea-formaldehyde resins, Phenol formaldehyde resins, polymeric diphenylmethane diisocyanate (PMDI), but also binders based on renewable raw materials such as Tannin, strength, Use lignin, protein and mixtures thereof.
The use of the deposits can either as an addition to the binder liquor or as a separate task on the wood or wood shredding products. The Deposits in solid form (powder) or brought into solution can be used.
