Abstract

The invention relates to a washboard for cleaning surfaces, wherein the washboard has a carrier plate (2) with a handle (3) arranged thereon and a sponge surface (4) arranged on the side of the carrier plate (2) opposite the handle (3). Description

The invention relates to a washboard and a device for cleaning a washboard and is used in particular for tilers and cleaners.

From the publication DE 35 02 307 C2 a device for cleaning the washboard for tilers is known. The device has a cuboid, upwardly open container, in the upper part of which a roller arranged inside or above the container is rotatably mounted, the roller being designed as a hollow body and having a profiled outer circumference and a plurality of passage openings in the recesses of the outer circumference inner cavity of the roller. Furthermore, the roller has a plurality of straight ribs on its outer circumference that extend essentially in the longitudinal direction of the roller. The washboard is cleaned by immersing the washboard in the liquid, especially water, within the container and then wiping off the sponge-like side of the washboard on the roller.

In print DE 196 43 944 C1 A washboard cleaner is described which has an overflow container with an inserted grid for squeezing out the washing sponge, the press water dripping under the grid into the container, the joint compound settling and the excess press water flowing back into the container.

A device for cleaning a washboard with a sponge disk and a handle for cleaning tiles and surfaces is from the publication DE 20 2017 005 028 U1 known. The device has a container with a cleaning liquid and an ejection roller arranged above with two counter-rollers provided for pressing the sponge disk. The counter rollers are arranged at a distance from the ejection roller. The ejection roller can be driven by an electric motor and controlled with a controllable switch.

A washboard, especially for tilers, is out of print DE 197 30 703 C2 known. The washboard has a central region and an edge region, with the central region having recesses in the form of grooves or holes. The central area and edge area are made of the same absorbent material or one that differs in type and structure. The aim is to more effectively wash away excess grout from tile surfaces. The disadvantage is that there is only one side for cleaning a surface, which means that cleaning takes more time.

From the publication DE 37 43 412 C1 a washboard is known for cleaning slab coverings. The washboard has a sponge receiving surface, the sponge receiving surface being designed to be collapsible for squeezing out the sponge. The washboard has one side for cleaning surfaces and is not suitable for reducing the time spent washing and grouting tiles.

The publication DE 10 2006 048 010 A1 discloses a device for soil cultivation. The device has a front plate by means of which bases can be cleaned. The structure of the device is very complex and not suitable for cleaning with a time saving when washing and grouting tiles.

The object of the invention is to develop a washboard and a device for cleaning a washboard, which has a simple structural design and which facilitates, accelerates and simplifies the washing and cleaning process after grouting tile coverings. Areas of application are hardware stores, tilers, cleaning companies, construction and hobbies, craftsmen, tile supplies, hardware stores and building supplies, tool companies and sellers.

This task is solved with the features of the first and sixth patent claims.

Advantageous refinements result from the subclaims.

The washboard according to the invention for cleaning surfaces has a carrier plate with a handle arranged thereon and a sponge surface for cleaning the surface arranged on the side of the carrier plate opposite the handle, the carrier plate having a first side plate in the edge region perpendicular to the carrier plate and a , the second side plate opposite the first side plate has such that the support plate with the side plates is U-shaped and that the support plate and side plates have a sponge surface.

This sponge surface, which is received by the carrier plate and the first and second side plates, is preferably designed to merge flush with one another.

According to a possible design of the washboard, the carrier plate and the side plates are made in one piece. Alternatively, plates that can be connected to one another would also be conceivable. These can nen be designed to be interchangeable in a further alternative embodiment.

Advantageously, the first and/or second side plates extend beyond the height of the handle. This means that even higher skirting boards and tiles can be cleaned at the same time as the floor. Furthermore, corner formations or corner areas of walls and floors can be cleaned. Thanks to the preferably three-sided dishwashing board, three times the surface area can be washed effectively and efficiently by washing the sponges once, saving three times as much time, work and energy. Alternatively, the wall and floor surface can be cleaned three times faster and more efficiently by rotating the U-shaped washing up board, as three cleaning sides are available by washing out once.

The invention further relates to a device for cleaning a washboard according to the invention, the device having an upwardly open container with at least one roller element extending from one long side to the other long side of the container and at least one second roller element on one long side of the container is arranged within the container, wherein the long side of the container is parallel to an axis of rotation of the second roller element. The second roller element is arranged in such a way that the sponge is squeezed out.

In an advantageous embodiment, a third roller element is arranged within the container opposite the second roller element, with an axis of rotation of the second roller element being parallel to the axis of rotation of the third roller element.

Particularly preferably, the second and/or third roller element has at least two rollers arranged vertically one above the other, but the first roller element can also be formed from several rollers lying one behind the other.

According to a possible embodiment, the container has a container base, with a grid having a diagonal grid being arranged above the container base in the direction of the container opening. Furthermore, the grid can be U-shaped, with the U-shaped grid preferably being larger in dimensions than the washboard.

The grid particularly preferably has a wave-shaped surface in the direction of the container opening. This wave-shaped surface can particularly preferably have a height of between 2 and 4 mm. This makes the cleaning process of the lower and side sponge boards much easier, as the curves press deeper into the sponges and push out the dirt in the sponge surfaces.

The invention provides a washing-up board including a cleaning device, which extremely facilitates, accelerates and simplifies the washing-up and cleaning process after grouting tile coverings. In addition, the L or U-shaped washing board can clean the vertically raised base directly through at least one additional side.

According to the exemplary embodiment in 1 the carrier plate 2 is U-shaped with a first and second side plate 5, 6 and is covered on the outside by the sponge surface 4.

The carrier plate 2 and the first and second side plates 5, 6 are designed to merge into one another in one piece. Alternatively, a multi-part design would also be conceivable, with the side plates being connected to the carrier plate 2 using known connection options such as screws, gluing or the like.

The 3 and 4 show a device for cleaning a dishwashing board according to the design in the 1 and 2 . The device has an upwardly open container 7 with a first roller element 8 extending from one long side to the other long side of the container 7. The first roller element 8 is at the top of the container is mounted transversely on its frame structure. A second roller element 9 and a third roller element 10 are arranged within the container along the long sides of the container, parallel to the long sides. A third roller element 10 is arranged opposite and spaced apart from the second roller element 9. The distance between the second and third roller elements 9 and 10 is selected so that a washing board can be carried out between the second and third roller elements 9, 10.

The first roller element is designed with three rollers 11 lying horizontally one behind the other, the second and third roller elements have three rollers 12 lying vertically one behind the other.
