Abstract
The follow-up patent application describes the technical and functional “connection technology” of the patented, cylindrical and retractable fish cage under file number no. 10 2010 932 673.9 with a seaworthy cargo ship as an offshore feeding and service station in order to eliminate the daily labor-intensive and complex feeding transport routes from the coast to the offshore Fish cages to avoid.A seaworthy cargo ship, modified and equipped with a car battery - solar panel and wind turbine for a self-sufficient energy supply. Feed silos and underwater automatic feeders for individual section feeding. Air pressure system for all control functions of the cage and the valves. Programmable control units ensure autonomous management of the offshore fish farm without on-site staff and without fossil energy. Test results and static calculations of the cylindrical fish cage in the Atlantic ensure a wave resistance of 10m for cages up to L 100m x D 16m to 24m, with a cage volume of 20,000m3bis 45,000m3.The cylindrical fish cage with a pull point receives waves and currents only on the conical front, where an innovative protective design breaks the waves and strong currents and ensures an even flow of water through the cage. The cylindrical fish cage is automatically lowered below the wave troughs and although at depths where the fish normally lives. The fish are therefore not forced to live in the disease-causing turbulence of the waves and strong storm currents. The mobile ocean fish farm, which circulates on an anchor, can avoid storms, hurricanes, algae and plastic pollution, plague occurrences and other restrictions. Container transport is displacing cargo ships, which are disposed of. These freighters are ideal for offshore feeding and service stations. A fish farm with 3 cages produces an unrivaled 1,500 to 3,300 tons of fish. The innovative, mobile and autonomous ocean fish farm concept and technology is to date unique and unrivaled on the global market and is the basis for risk-free, low-cost, sustainable, fish-friendly and economical aquaculture in the world natural resources of the open seas, without a lot of personnel and without fossil fuels. The world's oceans are overfished, the growing world population needs healthy fish from the natural resources of the open seas. Governments and marine organizations have been investing billions of euros in free-floating fish cages in the open sea for decades without any economic success. This innovation is the solution.Wind farms: The mobile, anchor-circulating offshore fish farm does not hinder the service and maintenance of the wind farms and is the only concept and technology for the protected wind farms for dual use: electricity and fish. This innovation promotes social and economic growth.
Description
An inventive innovation is underwater feeding. An innovative device pushes a predetermined feed pellet portion into the water feeding tube with higher air pressure. The food reaches the sections of the fish cage, guided by control valves. The amount of food and the feeding time can be programmed for each cage section.
