Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, die Nachteile der geschilderten Befestigungsart ohne Sicherheitsverlust zu ersetzen. In vorteilhafter Ausführung der Erfindung erfolgt die Befestigung und Positionierung des Profilzylinders durch ein Befestigungselement (2) das an mindestens einem der beiden Seitenbleche (1) des Schlossgehäuses befestigt ist. Das Befestigungselement (2) hat teilweise die Form des Profizylinders und ist so gestaltet, dass nach der Montage des Profilzylinders die parallelen Flächen des Profilzylinders zwischen den beiden federnden Schenkeln (3 und 4) des Befestigungselements eingeklemmt werden. Der federnde Schenkel (7) drückt den Profilzylinder nach oben gegen einen Anschlag in den Seitenblechen (1). Damit ist der Profilzylinder spielfrei umschlossen und durch die Federkräfte befestigt.
