Abstract

Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass- anhand erfasster Signale zumindest eines, vor das Fahrzeug gerichteten, lidarbasierten Sensor (4) eine Reflektivität eines Objektes (O) vor dem Fahrzeug (1) ermittelt wird und- bei Überschreiten einer in Abhängigkeit einer Lichtverteilung des Fernlichtes (F) vorgegebenen Reflektivität durch das Objekt (O) vor einem Auftreffen des Fernlichtes (F) auf das Objekt (O) das Fernlicht (F) zumindest im Bereich des Objektes (O) deaktiviert wird.The invention relates to a method for reducing the risk of glare for a vehicle user of a vehicle (1) through reflections of an activated high beam (F) of the vehicle (1).
