The invention relates to a packaging for packaging consumables for use in a processing device, in particular a wood processing device for processing plate-shaped workpieces, and a method for supplying consumables.

From the EP 1 860 596 A1 a cassette for a coating device is known which receives an edge coating material for coating narrow sides of plate-shaped workpieces. Such a standardized cassette enables easy handling of the edge coating material in that an automated insertion of the cassette into the processing device is provided. Due to the increasing complexity of the machining devices and the increasing variety of products, it is necessary to supply the machining device with a large number of different consumables and wear materials in order to machine and process the various workpieces. The consumables and wear materials required have a wide variety of properties, so that the use of a standardized cassette for many consumables or wear materials is often impractical or too expensive.

The object of the present invention is to propose a packaging for packaging consumables for use in a processing device, which enables packaging of various consumables and simple handling, as well as to propose a method for supplying consumables.
