Packaging device for packaging consumables and method for supplying consumables
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a packaging device for packaging consumables for use in a processing device, in particular a wood processing device for processing plate-shaped workpieces, and to a method for supplying consumables.
Background
From EP 1860596 a1 a cassette for a coating device is known, which contains an edge coating material for coating a narrow side of a plate-shaped workpiece. Such a standardized cassette enables a simple handling of the edge coating material in that the cassette is automatically inserted into the processing device. Due to the progressive complexity of the machining devices and the increased product diversity, a large number of different consumables and wear materials need to be supplied to the machining devices in order to machine and process different workpieces. The consumables and wear materials required here have different properties, so that it is often impractical or expensive to use standardized cassettes for a plurality of consumables or wear materials.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to propose a packaging device for packaging consumables for use in a processing device that enables packaging and simple handling of different consumables and a method for supplying consumables.
This object is achieved according to the invention by a packaging device according to the features of claim 1 and a method for supplying consumables according to the features of claim 13. Particularly preferred embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.
The packaging device according to the invention for packaging consumables for use in a processing device, in particular a wood processing device for processing plate-shaped workpieces, comprises a base body which is formed from at least one single-use or multi-use packaging material, wherein the base body at least partially delimits a receiving region for receiving and outputting the consumables, and the receiving region is at least partially surrounded by the packaging material, and has an output device which makes it possible to access the consumables which can be received in the receiving region, and has at least one verification device for verifying a property of the packaged consumables, wherein the base body is formed for being supplied to the processing device together with the consumables.
As soon as material has been taken from the packaging device and supplied to the processing device, the packaging device for packaging the consumables and the wear material is usually removed. Information about the properties of the material is usually provided at the packaging device, so that said information is lost with removal. However, the information may relate to important process parameters, such as the amount, chemical or physical properties of the packaged material or similar parameters that may be required for a subsequent process or further use of the material.
In the packaging device according to the invention, it is provided that the packaging device is supplied to the processing device together with the consumable. In this case, the packaging device is held in or at the processing device during the processing or treatment process, so that at least one verification device provided at the packaging device for detecting a property of the consumable is not lost by the removal of the packaging device. In this way, information about the characteristics of the consumable can be made permanently available via the verification means during the entire processing or treatment process. The packaging device can also form a protection until the consumable is completely consumed, wherein the packaged consumable can either be taken from the packaging device and supplied to the processing device as required or the packaged consumable is taken from the packaging device and supplied to the processing device before the processing or treatment process. Alternatively, the consumable can also be packaged again in the packaging device after the processing or treatment process. By means of the packaging device, significant advantages can be achieved, in particular with regard to the logistics process and/or organization of warehouse management, since information about the packaged consumable can be detected quickly and simply by means of the verification device and, for example, residual material can also be extracted from the processing device after the end of the processing or treatment process and can again be packaged and stored by means of the corresponding packaging device without loss of information.
Within the scope of the invention, the type of consumable can vary widely. Thus, apart from different coating materials, for example, bulk goods such as particles, components such as fittings or pins, but also wear tools, etc., can also be involved. In a preferred refinement of the packaging device, it can be provided that the verification device is designed as at least one passage in the base body, preferably as a window in the base body, wherein the at least one passage enables optical verification of the properties of the packaged consumable. Such a perforation enables the user to quickly and simply verify optically the packaged consumable without having to use additional technical aids. For example, it is possible to visually detect: whether a consumable has been packaged in the packaging device, optionally, it is detected which consumable has been packaged in the packaging device or which number of consumables has been packaged in the packaging device or which properties the packaged consumable has. Thereby, significant time and work savings can be achieved, especially if a particular consumable should be quickly optically verified from a large number of packaged consumables, for example in a warehouse.
In a further embodiment of the packaging device, it can be provided that the verification device is provided as a graphic representation on the outside of the base body, in particular as a bar code, a two-dimensional code, a symbol, pictographs, pictures, numbers and/or words on the outside of the base body, which are printed onto the packaging material. In many consumables, the packaging device can be designed to be completely closed, for example, for reasons of quality or for protection. By providing the verification means as an illustration on the outside of the packaging device, it is still possible for a user to achieve that a packaged consumable can be verified quickly and simply. If the representation is designed as a bar code or a two-dimensional code, a large amount of information about the properties of the packaged consumable can be stored by means of the bar code or the two-dimensional code. The characteristic can also be, for example, a detailed chemical or physical parameter that is taken into account for the processing or treatment process in the processing device. The information can be retrieved by the user or by means of technical aids, for example, a reader, and the barcode or two-dimensional code likewise enables the stored information to be read by a corresponding device at the processing device. This makes it possible in particular to automatically operate the packaging device in the processing device.
In a preferred refinement, it can be provided that the authentication device is designed as an information storage unit which can be written and read wirelessly, in particular as an RFID device, and that the authentication device is arranged on or in the substrate. By means of such an information storage unit, in addition to storing a large amount of information, it is also possible to read the information very conveniently. By means of the RFID device, information can also be read over a larger distance. Automatic reading of information is also thereby enabled. By making the information storage unit writable, further information can also be stored on the information storage unit by the user or by a corresponding device of the processing device. The further information can relate to process parameters which are generated by or during the machining or treatment process, for example the residual quantity of the consumable.
In an advantageous embodiment of the packaging device, a coupling device is provided on or formed by the base body, wherein the coupling device is provided with at least one coupling element for gripping the processing device, so that an automatic handling of the packaging device in the processing device is possible. By means of such a coupling, it can be provided that the packaging device is supplied, in particular automatically, to the processing device together with the consumable. In this case, the consumables in the processing device can be automatically or mechanically extracted, supplied and/or processed by the coupling device at the packaging device and by the corresponding device of the processing device. The consumable can thus also be returned subsequently to the packaging device after the processing or treatment process.
In a development of the packaging device, the coupling means can be designed as a tab, a recess, an eyelet or a hook at or in the base body. In this way, a simple and cost-effective design of the coupling device can be formed. Such a coupling can also be provided at differently designed packaging devices, so that, due to the uniform design of the coupling, differently designed packaging devices can also be realized which are automatically operated in the processing device.
In a preferred embodiment of the packaging device, the base body can be formed from at least one bending-resistant packaging material which forms a deformation-resistant molded body. A good protection of sensitive consumables by the packaging device can also be achieved by using a packaging material that is resistant to bending. Furthermore, the deformation-resistant design of the base body can simplify the automatic handling of the packaging device in the processing device.
In an alternative embodiment of the packaging device, the base body can be formed from a flexible packaging material and can be adapted at least in regions to the shape of the consumable to be packaged. By providing a flexible packaging material, a low-cost substrate for packaging consumables can be constructed. In addition, such a substrate can be adapted in a simple manner to any geometry of different consumables in order to package said consumables.
Preferably, the packaging material can be composed of paper, cardboard, plastic and/or composite material. By means of the packaging material, a deformation-resistant and flexible base body can be formed, wherein different packaging materials can also be combined with one another at will. Furthermore, the packaging material enables a single use and multiple uses of the packaging device and can be easily removed or recycled. In addition, a low-cost packaging device can be constructed from the packaging material.
In an advantageous development of the packaging device, the dispensing device is designed as an opening, a slide or a flap at or in the base body, and the consumable is dispensed and/or dispensed by the dispensing device. The consumable can be output or extracted at a defined location of the packaging device by means of the output device. By setting the position of the output device at the packaging device in correspondence with the respective extraction device of the processing device, it is possible to achieve an automatic operation of the packaging device in the processing device. It is also possible to realize: in particular in the case of sliders or lids, reclosing the output device makes it possible to store the packaging device after the processing or handling process together with the remaining amount of consumable.
Advantageously, the packaging material can have, in particular at least in regions in the region of the dispensing device, a tear promoting device for opening the packaging material. Such tear promoting means can be constituted, for example, by perforations or tear tapes processed in the packaging material, so that an easy and defined opening of the packaging device is possible. This can be achieved in particular by the tear promoting means: the packaging device is opened only in the area where the consumable should be output.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the packaging material can have a mechanism for displaying the filling status of the consumable provided in the packaging device. Thereby, a more efficient and reliable operation and supply of the respective consumable is produced.
The above-mentioned advantages are especially exhibited when using the method for supplying a consumable to a processing device, in particular a wood processing device for processing plate-shaped workpieces, according to claim 13. It should be noted here that the respective packaging device, together with the consumable, can also be supplied to the machine several times and removed from the machine again. In this case, the verification device according to the present invention enables efficient and reliable temporary storage of the packaging device in the storage system.

Fig. 1 shows an exemplary first embodiment of a packaging arrangement 10 according to the invention in a sectional view. The packaging device 10 is provided for packaging consumables 13 or wear material. The consumable 13 is provided for use in a processing device, not shown in detail, in particular a wood processing device for processing plate-shaped workpieces. The consumable 13 is exemplarily shown in fig. 1 according to a tape-like consumable 13 wound in a roll form. The coupling 19 according to fig. 1 is designed as a web 21 with two recesses 22. Coupling elements of the processing device can be activated or interfered with at the tabs 21 or the recesses 22 in order to be able to automatically or machine-wise handle the packaging device 10 in the processing device. The coupling means 19 are arranged at the side regions 23 of the base body 11. Likewise, the coupling 19 can be arranged at other locations on the base body 11. The webs 21 are merely an exemplary embodiment of the coupling device 19 and can be designed in different ways.
In order to enable a simple verification of the consumables 13 packaged by the packaging device 10 both for the user and also by the processing device, the packaging device 10 has a verification device 18 for verifying the properties of the packaged consumables 13. The verification means 18 can be embodied in different types, wherein different verification means 18 can be provided on the packaging device 10 individually or in combination with one another.
According to fig. 1, two different verification means 18 are provided at the packaging device 10. One of these verification means 18 is designed as a graphic representation 27, by means of which information about the properties of the packaged consumable 13 can be visually recognized. Such graphical representations 27 can be, for example, pictures, symbols, pictograms or also numbers or words. The illustration 27 is printed on the outside 17 of the packaging unit 10. Likewise, the graphic representation 27 can be a bar code or a two-dimensional code. By means of the bar code or two-dimensional code, extensive information about the packaged consumable 13 can also be stored, which can be read by the user by means of a corresponding reading device or by a corresponding apparatus of the processing device. The information can be, for example, information about the type, nature, quantity of the packaged consumable 13, the chemical and/or physical properties of the consumable 13 and similar parameters that are important for the processing or treatment process for the user.
The second authentication device 18 is designed as an information storage unit 28, in particular as an RFID device, which can be written and read wirelessly. The information storage unit can be arranged not only on the outer side 17 of the packaging device 10 but can also be introduced into the packaging device 10 or into the packaging material. The information storage unit 28 can also store the above information. Furthermore, writable information storage unit 28 enables process parameters to be stored in information storage unit 28 during or after a machining or processing process. Such process parameters can relate, for example, to information generated by the processing or treatment process, such as the remaining amount of consumable 13 in packaging device 10.
The authentication device 18 is not limited to the following: information on the packaged consumable 13 is directly stored in the information storage unit or the barcode or the two-dimensional code. It can likewise be provided that the verification device 18 is connected to an external memory unit, not shown in detail, on which information about the packaged consumable 13 is stored. The external storage unit can also be a cloud-based storage unit. Such a memory unit can centrally store and also be used by different users or processing devices to retrieve a large number of different information about the packaged consumable 13, in particular a large number of different consumables 13.
Fig. 2 shows an alternative development of the packaging device 10 according to fig. 1. The packaging device 10 differs from the packaging device 10 according to fig. 1 in that: a window 26 is formed in the side region 23 of the base body 11. The viewing window 26 can be closed by a transparent cover, for example a transparent plastic film. It can likewise be provided that the window 26 is designed to be open, so that access to the consumable 13 is also possible. The window 26 is provided to enable a user to quickly and easily visually verify the packaged consumable 13. The window 26 can likewise be formed at any other point of the base body 11, for example in the cover 15, the base 14 and/or the side wall 16.
Fig. 3 shows an alternative embodiment of the packaging device 10. The described embodiment of the packaging device 10 is also shown by way of example for packaging strip-shaped consumables 13, but can also be configured for packaging other types of consumables 13 and wear material, as with the packaging device 10 according to fig. 1. The packaging device 10 has a base body 11 with a plurality of through openings 24. The openings 24 are arranged in the corner regions of the base body 11. Likewise, it is also possible to form the openings 24 only in one, two or three corner regions of the base body 11, or to form the corner regions of the base body 11 so as to be closed and to form one or more openings 24 in the base 14, the cover 15 and/or the side walls 16 of the base body 11. The perforation 24 is provided in particular for enabling a user to quickly and simply verify the content, i.e. the packaged consumable 13. Likewise, the through-penetration 24 can be used to take the consumable 13 in order to supply the consumable 13 from the packaging device 10 to the processing device. The through opening 24 enables access to the consumable 13 accommodated in the accommodation region 12, in such a way that it serves as an output device 20.
The base body 11 of the packaging device 10 can be formed from a packaging material having flexible material properties. This can be, for example, paper, cardboard or plastic. The base body 11 of the packaging device 10 can thereby be adapted to the shape of the packaged consumable 13, so that the packaged consumable 13 is safely held in the receiving area 12 of the base body 11. Even in the case of the packaging device 10, a coupling device 19 is provided at one of the side regions 23 of the base body 11, so that an automatic or machine-like loading, handling and/or handling of the packaging device 10 in the processing device is achieved. Likewise, one or more verification means 18, such as the verification means described in connection with the packaging device 10 also in fig. 1, are provided at the base body 11.

Claims (13)

1. A packaging device (10) for packaging consumables (13) for use in processing devices, in particular in wood processing devices for processing plate-shaped workpieces, the packaging device has a base body (11) which is made of at least one single-use or multi-use packaging material, wherein the base body (11) at least partially delimits a receiving region (12) for receiving and outputting the consumable (13), and the receiving region (12) is at least partially surrounded by the packaging material, and the packaging device has an output device (20), said output means enabling the acquisition of consumables (13) receivable in said housing area (12), and having at least one verification device (18) for verifying the properties of the packaged consumable (13), wherein the substrate (11) is at least designed to be supplied to the processing device together with the consumable (13).
2. The packaging device of claim 1, wherein the packaging device,
it is characterized in that the preparation method is characterized in that,
the verification device (18) is designed as at least one opening (24), preferably as a window (26), in the base body (11), wherein the at least one opening (24) allows the optical verification of the properties of the packaged consumable (13).
3. The packaging device of claim 1, wherein the packaging device,
it is characterized in that the preparation method is characterized in that,
the verification device (18) is provided as a graphic representation (27) on the outer side (17) of the base body (11), in particular as a bar code, a two-dimensional code, a symbol, pictographic characters, pictures, numbers and/or words on the outer side (17) of the base body (11) printed on the packaging material.
4. The packaging device of claim 1, wherein the packaging device,
it is characterized in that the preparation method is characterized in that,
the authentication device (18) is designed as a wirelessly writable and readable information storage unit (28), in particular as an RFID device, and is arranged on the base body (11) or in the base body (11).
5. The packaging device of any one of the preceding claims,

a coupling device (19) is provided on the base body (11) or the coupling device (19) is formed by the base body (11), wherein the coupling device (19) is provided for acting on at least one coupling element of the processing device, so that an automatic handling of the packaging device (10) in the processing device is achieved.

the base body (11) is made of a flexible packaging material and is at least partially adapted to the shape of the consumable (13) to be packaged.

10. The packaging device of any one of the preceding claims,

the output device (20) is designed as an opening (25), a slider or a flap at the base body (11) or in the base body (11), and the output and/or dispensing of the consumable substance (13) is provided by the output device (20).
11. The packaging device of any one of the preceding claims,

the packaging material has, in particular in the region of the dispensing device (20), at least in regions, a tear promoting device for opening the packaging material.
12. The packaging device of any one of the preceding claims,

the packaging device has a mechanism for displaying the filling status of the consumable provided in the packaging device.
13. A method for supplying consumables (13) to a processing device, in particular a wood processing device for processing plate-shaped workpieces, having the following steps:
delivering a packaging unit (10) according to any one of the preceding claims to the processing unit,
supplying at least the substrate (11) of the packaging device (10) to the processing device together with the consumable (13), and
verifying the identity of the consumable (13) by means of a verification device (18).
