Die Spoilerlippe ist aus einem elastomeren Material gebildet, zum Beispiel einem Ethylen-Propylen-Dien-Kautschuk, der abgekürzt auch als EPDM bezeichnet wird. Mit einer geeigneten Anzahl von länglichen und/oder weiteren Befestigungselementen kann die Spoilerlippe auf einfache Art und Weise über ihre gesamte Länge stabil und lösbar mit der Betätigungseinrichtung verbunden werden. Durch die elastische Verbindung wird auf einfache Art und Weise sichergestellt, dass sich die Spoilerlippe beim Ausfahren aus ihrer Ruhestellung in die Betriebsstellung in ihrer Längsrichtung, also im Wesentlichen quer zur Fahrzeuglängsrichtung, ausdehnen und/oder zusammenziehen kann.
