The practical thing about these bags is that you have both hands free despite carrying the bag and that the concentration on your hips means that your freedom of movement is hardly restricted, which is why it has been used for a long time when skiing. The shape of the bag has been popular as a fashion accessory since the early 1990s, after the backpack had previously conquered the urban world.

Disadvantages of the prior art

The possible uses are limited by their fixed size and limited volume. For example, other items such as jackets or drinks cannot be accommodated on an excursion. This in turn restricts the user's freedom of movement.

Object of the invention

The object of the invention is to develop a bag for transferring in such a way that, depending on the choice of the user, it either has a room with a small volume (comparable to a fanny pack) or a room with a large volume (comparable with a shopping bag) and this activation of space from a small to a large volume.

Advantages of the invention

In order to increase the storage space of the fanny pack, you need another pocket that can be folded out. When folded, it hardly takes up any space and does not restrict the mobility of the wearer. If necessary, it can be folded out with little effort and carried diagonally over a shoulder on the back.

It is also easy to manufacture because it consists of a few components. In addition to fabric and leather, art paper such as Tyrek can be used. This material has a lasting effect. It is also water and tear resistant.

Description of an embodiment

Depending on the volume available for the application, the bag is attached to the hip area via a belt as a fanny pack or on the back and on the sagittal plane to the side.

The different application sizes of the room element are fixed with fixing elements. Enlarging and reducing is based on a defined folding technique. Magnetic fasteners were used to fix the three sides. A button is used for the two sides on which the belt is folded, which can be opened by pulling outwards. These hold the small front pocket together with the folded rear pocket. Another fastener on the lower side of the large bag fixes it with the two folded straps. Fixing the sides with the buttons ensures the stability of the bag in a small format.

The locking technology is so simple that it can be opened by the user in just a few simple steps.

The large fastener on the lower side of the unfolded bag (bag with a large volume) can be opened by pulling up on a loop. If the user pulls on two more loops, which are located on the left and right side of the bag (attachment of the belt), the two additional buttons open. By using magnets, the closures simply snap back into position. Opening and closing the closures is therefore easy, for example, even if the user is wearing gloves.

Thanks to the folding mechanism, the user only has to adjust the belt length once. When unfolded, the belt extends automatically so that the bag can be carried optimally on the back.

In order to keep the bag's thickness and weight as low as possible, thin fabric was used, preferably Tyvek. Depending on the area of application (sport, fashion, etc.), the bag can be made with different materials.

Folding technique (Fig. 3):

The product consists of a small front pocket that is the size of a conventional fanny pack. On the back of the small bag there is another bag that has twice the length and width of the small bag when unfolded. First the overlapping pages are folded to the left and to the right. The belt is bent outwards to the left and right side. The lower, protruding part is then folded up. The lower part and the two folded sides are held together by a fastener, so that the strap is firmly fixed and the bag can be carried compactly. The folded elements of the bag can be fixed and connected using various fastening techniques, for example buttons, magnets, cords, etc. The folding technique automatically increases the length of the belt without having to adjust the belt manually.
