  • The present invention relates to a refrigerator and / or freezer with a refrigerated interior and with a door by means of which the cooled interior is closable, the door comprising a frame and one or more transparent panes which are partially or completely surrounded by the frame ,
  • For example, freezers with a glass door consisting of a frame and one or more panes of glass surrounded by the frame are known in the art.
  • The frame consists of a door profile, in the interior of which a frame heating is arranged, which is also simply referred to in the context of the present invention as a "heating device". As a result of this arrangement of the heating device, the heat emanating from the heating device has to be conducted through the door profile to its outside in order to generate a temperature there through which condensation is avoided. This reduces the efficiency of the heater. Apart from that, when laying the heater inside the door profile always has the disadvantage that this slippage may or may not be accurately positioned, which may also affect the efficiency of the heater.
  • The present invention has the object of developing a refrigerator and / or freezer of the type mentioned in such a way that a reliable and efficient condensate avoidance is achieved.
  • This object is achieved by a refrigerator and / or freezer with the features of claim 1.
  • Thereafter, it is provided that the frame has a door profile and the door profile partially or completely covering the door profile at least on its outer side, wherein there is a heating device on the outside of the door profile between the frame and the cover.
  • Under outside in the context of the present invention, the remote from the cooled interior, i. E. to understand the front of the device directed side of the door profile. Laying the heater on the outside of the door profile ensures that the heat is generated directly on the cover and does not have to be passed through the door profile. This results in an efficient frame heating, with which the door profile and the cover are heated sufficiently. In this way, condensation or liquid and droplet formation on the door profile and on the cover is prevented.
  • The formation of ice deposits, which is otherwise expected especially in freezers, is avoided.
  • For example, the cover may extend only on the outside of the frame. This is - as stated above - meant the side of the frame, which faces away from the cooled interior and looks at the viewer with the door closed when he stands in front of the door of the device.
  • Preferably, the cover extends on the outside, on the front side and on the inside of the frame and is thus designed in cross-section U-shaped.
  • It is preferably provided that the two legs of the U-shaped cover adjacent to the door profile and preferably in contact therewith, so that between the cover and the door profile, a space is formed, which preferably with a thermal insulation, such. filled with a foaming.
  • A particularly efficient heat transfer from the frame heater, i. from the heater to the cover and / or to the door profile is achieved when the heater is directly in contact with the cover and / or directly with the door profile.
  • It is particularly advantageous if the door profile and / or the cover has a groove or other fixing means in which the heating device is preferably accommodated without play or essentially without play. Such a groove or fixing means bring with it the advantage that the heating device is received and guided therein, specifically at the intended and desired position. Slipping of the heater is thus excluded.
  • Preferably, the groove is arranged on the outside of the door profile or on the cover and that on the side facing the door profile of the cover. This has the mounting advantage that the heater can be easily inserted from the outside into the groove and does not have to be installed inside the door profile.
  • It is particularly preferred if the heating device directly adjoins the cover or touches it. Thus, the heat transfer and thus the efficiency of the heater over known arrangements is significantly improved.
  • Preferably, the heater is designed as a heating wire or designed as another elongate heating element.
  • Furthermore, it can be provided that the door profile fixing means, such. has one or more grooves for fixing the edge region of the at least one disc.

  • The at least one disc is transparent or translucent and may be e.g. made of glass or plastic.
  • A particularly appealing design is achieved when the cover covers the edge region of the at least one pane, so that it is not visible from the outside. The design is therefore no longer dependent on the door profile, but is essentially defined by the cover, which is preferably designed as a sheet metal part.
  • Depending on the size of the cover, an individual size and position of the viewing window or of the transparent or translucent area can thus be achieved.
