Abstract

The number of travelers has increased dramatically in recent years. For different reasons, traveling is a more or less everyday occurrence for many people. Travel cases are currently offered in two versions, namely as a hardshell case and on the other hand as a soft-shell suitcase. Hard shell cases are made in particular of plastics and / or aluminum. The inventive method for producing a suitcase provides that at least one case shell, from which the travel case is formed, is formed from a sandwich sheet by deep drawing or hydroforming.
