Abstract

The invention relates to a first aid unit which can be used in the resuscitation of persons, and which comprises at least one treatment means (10; 30) for carrying out first aid measures. The treatment agent (10; 30) has an integrated sensor unit (20; 120) which collects data during the execution of the first aid measure. The present invention relates to a first-aid unit comprising processing means with integrated sensor unit and capable of giving feedback to a user. In particular, it is suitable for use in connection with car accidents.

Various telemedial systems are already known from the prior art, which should optimize the use of first aid in the event of a car accident by as quickly as possible professional assistance is ordered to an accident location and / or at least communication with a trained rescue workers is possible. However, such systems can themselves be damaged in an accident and thus become useless. Or the car is in a radio hole and it can not be connected to a rescue center. Especially in rural areas, a comprehensive coverage of radio communications has not yet been achieved.

Therefore, an object is to provide a first aid unit that is capable of assisting a first responder in the care of accident victims, even when connected to an outside agency. This object is achieved by a first aid unit with the features of claim 1. Further advantages and features of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.

A first aid unit according to the invention comprises at least one treatment agent which has a sensor unit and is suitable for carrying out first aid measures, for example for resuscitating an accident victim. Preferably, the first aid unit comprises a plurality of treatment means, each with an integrated sensor unit. Furthermore, the first aid unit comprises a feedback system which is in communication with the sensor unit. During the implementation of first-aid measures by a user, data are collected by the sensor unit and transmitted to the feedback system. For this purpose, the sensor unit in particular comprises a transmitting unit and the feedback system comprises a receiving unit. The feedback system is adapted, depending on the data collected by the sensor unit, to provide the user with feedback and information on the application of the treatment agent and to carry out suitable first aid measures, thus relieving him from the application.

The feedback system can be arranged both on the treatment agent itself, as well as be designed as a separate unit. In particular, depending on the data acquired by the sensor unit, information is given that is required in the specific situation. For this purpose, the feedback system is in communication with an evaluation unit or comprises an evaluation unit which evaluates the acquired data of the sensor unit and, depending on this, obtains information from a database. Depending on the data sent, additional supportive instructions and information will be provided by the external rescue center. For example, a video connection or at least a voice connection is established with a rescue center, whereby a local emergency rescuer can give the first aider / user at the accident site in situ information and instructions for carrying out first aid measures. In particular, a first responder can communicate directly with the rescuer and be even better supported in this way. The first aid system can preferably be connected to a camera in order to also be able to send image material to an external rescue station. So even a rescuer can get a better impression of the situation there.

In summary, a first-aid unit according to the invention is not dependent on whether a contact to a rescue center actually comes about, but can, by the fact that the feedback system works as a local system regardless of a possible telemedialen connection also independent of assistance with First Help give action. Further features of the invention are explained below using an exemplary embodiment in which at least one of the treatment agents provided according to the invention is a glove which can be used to perform cardiac massages. It may be technically useful to arrange the sensors used, depending on their nature at different locations. For example, a pressure sensor is preferably integrated in the palm of the glove, since the pressure is exerted therefrom. Preferably, the first aid unit comprises as further components a respiration bag, which is also equipped with an integrated sensor unit. The sensor unit preferably comprises at least one pressure and / or flow sensor.
