Abstract

Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Zweikomponenten-Pastensystem zur Herstellung eines hypoallergenen Polymethylmethacrylat-freien Prothesenbasiskunststoffs.
- Prothesenbasiskunststoffe dienen der Herstellung der Prothesenbasis als des Teils des herausnehmbaren Zahnersatzes, der dem Prothesenlager anliegt und an dem die Zähne befestigt werden (DIN EN ISO 20795-1).
- Es ist bekannt, Prothesenbasiskunststoffe auf der Basis einer Pulverkomponente, die als Hauptkomponente Polymethylmethacrylat-Perlpolymerisate enthält, sowie einer flüssigen Komponente, die als Hauptkomponente Methylmethacrylat enthält, herzustellen (M. Braden, R. L. Clarke, J. Nicholson, S. Parker. Polymeric Dental Materials. Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg New York 1997, S. 56). In den letzten Jahren hat sich jedoch gezeigt, dass die allergischen Beschwerden im Zusammenhang mit getragenem Zahnersatz auf der Grundlage dieser Prothesenbasiskunststoffe deutlich angestiegen sind. Dabei hat sich Methylmethacrylat als Allergen nicht nur für den diesen Zahnersatz tragende Patienten, sondern insbesondere auch für den diesen Zahnersatz herstellenden Zahntechniker als nachteilig erwiesen.
- Es sind nun Kunststoff-Gießmassen für die Dentaltechnik bekannt, die kein Methylmethacrylat enthalten und auf einem völlig anderen Polymersystem basieren, bestehend aus einem aus einem aliphatischen Isocyanat und einem Polyetherpolyol hergestellten Polyurethan (
DE 10 2008 058 039 A1 ). Nachteilig ist hierbei, dass dieses System aus flüssigen Komponenten aufgebaut ist und nur als Gießmasse verarbeitet und damit kaum den Verarbeitungsanforderungen des Zahntechnikers angepasst werden kann. Damit ist auch ein stufenweiser Aufbau einer Modellgussprothese durch den Zahntechniker nicht möglich. - Bekannt ist auch ein autopolymerisierendes Prothesen- und Unterfütterungsmaterial, enthaltend Perlpolymerisate und polymerisierbare Acrylatmonomere, bei dem keine Monomethacrylate eingesetzt werden (
EP 1 214 042 A1 ). Obwohl dieses Material eine gute Steifigkeit besitzt, erweist sich hier die mangelnde für einen dauerhaften Einsatz als Prothesenbasismaterial erforderliche Schlagzähigkeit aufgrund des Fehlens von Schlagzähkomponenten als nachteilig. - Aus
DE 10 2008 056 293 A1 sind polymerisierbare Mehrkomponenten-Prothesenausgangsmaterialien, insbesondere für Dentalprothesen, die als Festkomponente Homo- und und/oder Copolymere monofunktioneller Alkyl(meth)acrylate, insbesondere des Methylmethacrylats, in Pulverform und/oder in Form von Perlen enthält, bekannt, wobei zwei unterschiedliche durchschnittliche Partikelgrößen verwendet wurden. Die erste durchschnittliche Partikelgröße des ersten (Co)polymerisats liegt oberhalb von 30 µm und die zweite durchschnittliche Partikelgröße des zweiten (Co)polymerisats liegt im Bereich von 0,1 µm bis 30 µm. - Schließlich sind auch hypoallergene Dentalbasiskunststoffe bekannt, die auf monomeres Methylmethacrylat in der Formulierung verzichten, als Perlpolymerisat jedoch die Möglichkeit des Einsatzes von Polymethylmethacrylat nicht ausschließen (
DE 10 2012 022 693 A1 ). Nun ist bekannt, dass sich in jedem Polymerisat stets noch Restmengen an unpolymerisiertem Monomer, in diesem Fall monomeres Methylmethacrylat, befinden. Für autopolymerisierende Kunststoffe ist in den Anforderungen der DIN EN ISO 20795-1 „Zahnheilkunde-Kunststoffe-Teil 1: Prothesenkunststoffe“ ein maximaler Restgehalt an monomerem Methylmethacrylat von 4,5 Masseprozent festgelegt. Dies stellt einen sehr hohen Masseanteil an monomerem Methylmethacrylat dar und kann nach Elution bei dauernd getragenem Zahnersatz bzw. bei der Herstellung und beim Polieren der Prothese durch den Zahntechniker zu allergischen Reaktionen der betroffenen Personen führen. - Der Erfindung liegt deshalb die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Zweikomponenten-Pastensystem zur Herstellung eines hypoallergenen Polymethylmethacrylat-freien Prothesenbasiskunststoffs zu entwickeln, bei dem die oben beschriebenen Nachteile ganz oder teilweise vermieden werden und der sich insbesondere neben dem Ausschluss von Methylmethacrylat als Monomer auch durch einen völligen Verzicht auf Polymethylmethacrylat und somit auch durch den völligen Ausschluß kleinster Spuren an Methylmethacrylatmonomer auszeichnet.
- Erfindungsgemäß wird die Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, dass das Zweikomponenten-Pastensystem zur Herstellung eines hypoallergenen Polymethylmethacrylat-freien Prothesenbasiskunststoffs
- a) 39 bis 55 Masseprozent eines Polymethylmethacrylat-freien schlagzäh modifizierten Perlpolymerisates
- b) 60 bis 19 Masseprozent eines Monomergemisches aus bi- und/oder mehrfunktionellen Methacrylaten
- c) 0,2 bis 10 Masseprozent eines reaktiven Flüssigkautschuks als reaktiver Schlagzähigkeitsmodifikator
- d) 0,01 bis 3 Masseprozent eines silanisierten ultrahochmolekularen Polyethylens als reaktives faserförmiges Verstärkungsmaterial
- e) 0,1 bis 3 Masseprozent eines Initiierungssystems enthaltend als oxidierende Komponente ein Peroxid und als reduzierende Komponente N,N-Dihydroxyethyl-p-toluidin.
- f) 0,01 bis 10 Masseprozent eines oder mehrerer Zusatzstoffe, ausgewählt aus den Gruppen
- - Polymerisationsinhibitoren, Molekulargewichtsregler,
- - Farbstoffe, Pigmente, Opaker, UV-Stabilisatoren, Weichmacher, Rheologie-Additive, Dispergier-Additive, antimikrobielle Additive,
- - anorganische Füllstoffe wie Dentalgläser, Glaskeramiken, Nanopartikel, Silikate und/oder Siliciumdioxid,
- - sowie sonstige Zusatzstoffe
- Die Basispaste enthält 40 bis 60 Masseprozent der Bestandteile a) bis d) und f) sowie die oxidierenden Komponenten des Initiierungssystems von e) und die Katalysatorpaste enthält 40 bis 60 Masseprozent der Bestandteile a) bis d) und f) sowie die reduzierenden Komponenten des Initiierungssystems von e).
- Entsprechend der Erfindung kann das Polymethylmethacrylat-freie schlagzäh modifizierte Perlpolymerisat einen mittleren Partikeldurchmesser von 10 µm bis 140 µm aufweisen.
- Der Erfindung gemäß kann das Monomergemisch aus bi- und/oder mehrfunktionellen Methacrylaten Verbindungen, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe der bifunktionellen Methacrylate Ethylenglykoldimethacrylat, 1,6-Hexandioldimethacrylat, Triethylenglykoldimethacrylat, 1,10-Decandioldimethacrylat, 1,12-Dodecandioldimethacrylat, ethoxylierte Bisphenol-A-dimethacrylate, Polyethylenglykoldimethacrylate, Urethandimethacrylate, höhermolekularer Urethandimethacrylate wie Exothane, Butandioldimethacrylat, Tetraethylenglykoldimethacrylat, Neopentylglykoldimethacrylat, 2-Hydroxypropyl-1,3-dimethacrylat, 3-Hydroxypropyl-1,2-dimethacrylat, Pentaerythritoldimethacrylat, Glycerindimethacrylat, Bisphenol-A-Glycidylmethacrylat und/oder Dimethacrylaten des Dihydroxymethyltricyclo[5.2.1.02,6]decans, sowie aus der Gruppe der mehrfunktionellen Methacrylate Trimethylolpropantrimethacrylat und/oder Pentaerythritoltetramethacrylat, enthalten.
- Gemäß der Erfindung kann als reaktiver Schlagzähmodifikator ein oder mehrere Verbindungen aus den Gruppen reaktiver Polydimethylsiloxane, reaktiver Flüssigkautschuke wie vinylterminierter Flüssigpolymere und -oligomere des Butadiens und anderer Diene und Comonomerer, höherer Urethan(meth)acrylate, mit Urethan(meth)acrylaten reaktiv modifizierter Oligo- und Polybutadiene und anderer Diene, und/oder sonstiger reaktiver elastbasierter Schlagzähmodifikatoren, enthalten sein.
- Erfindungsgemäß kann das reaktive faserförmige Verstärkungsmaterial eine Länge von 0,1 µm bis 3 mm aufweisen.
- Entsprechend der Erfindung kann das reaktive faserförmige Verstärkungsmaterial vorzugsweise aus Nanotubes und/oder silanisierten Polyolefinfasern, bevorzugt silanisiertem ultrahochmolekularem Polyethylen, bestehen.
- Der Erfindung gemäß kann das Initiierungssystem bevorzugt ein Redoxsystem, insbesondere auf der Grundlage von Peroxiden, Azoverbindungen, Barbitursäuren, Ascorbinsäuren, oder Sulfinsäuren, enthalten.
- Die Formulierung kann als Paste-System zur Herstellung eines hypoallergenen Polymethylmethacrylat-freien Prothesenbasiskunststoffs sowohl als eine Einkomponentenpaste als auch als eine Zwei- oder Mehrkomponentenpaste erfolgen. Erfindungsgemäß ist die Formulierung als Zweikomponenten-Pastensystem.
- Der erfindungsgemäße Prothesenbasiskunststoff ist besonders geeignet zur Anwendung im Dentalbereich bei der Herstellung von Prothesen. Er kann in den unterschiedlichsten Applikationsformen hergestellt werden, wie beispielsweise als heißpolymerisierbarer, kaltpolymerisierbarer, lichtpolymerisierbarer oder mikrowellenpolymerisierbarer Kunststoff.
- Es war überraschend zu finden, dass der erfindungsgemäße hypoallergene Polymethylmethacrylat-freie Prothesenbasiskunststoff in seiner Formulierung als Paste-System wesentlich günstigere Verarbeitungseigenschaften sowie wesentlich bessere mechanischen Eigenschaften gegenüber dem gleichen, jedoch als Pulver-/Flüssigkeits-System formulierten Prothesenbasiskunststoff besitzt. Es war insbesondere überraschend, dass bei erfindungsgemäßer Vorgehensweise Prothesenbasismaterialien erhalten werden können, die bei verbesserten Verarbeitungsverhalten wesentlich verbesserte mechanische Eigenschaften sowohl hinsichtlich der Steifigkeit als auch hinsichtlich der die Zähigkeit im Vergleich zu üblichen hypoallergenen Prothesenbasismaterialien aufweisen.
- Die Erfindung soll nachstehend an einigen ausgewählten Ausführungsbeispielen näher erläutert werden.

- Durch homogene Vermischung gleicher Masseanteile von Basispaste und Katalysatorpaste wurden die Komponenten durch Polymerisation zunächst bei Raumtemperatur und anschließend bei 55°C für 30 Minuten in den hypoallergenen Polymethylmethacrylat-freien Prothesenbasiskunststoff überführt. Dabei wurden bei Raumtemperatur die Verarbeitungszeit als die Zeit vom Beginn der Vermischung der Komponenten bis zum Auftreten erster Inhomogenitäten in der flüssigen Mischung und die Erhärtungszeit als die Zeit bis zur Erhärtung der gesamten Mischung bestimmt.
- Zur Prüfung der mechanischen Eigenschaften wurden Probekörper der Abmessungen 10 mm × 3,3 mm × 64 mm nach DIN EN ISO 20795-1 hergestellt. Nach mindestens einwöchiger Konditionierung bei Raumtemperatur und 24 h Lagerung im Normklima wurden die ungekerbten Probekörper nach Wasserlagerung bezüglich der Steifigkeit der Prothesenbasiskunststoffe durch die Bestimmung des Biegemoduls E charakterisiert und analog DIN EN ISO 20795-1 geprüft. Die Ergebnisse der Prüfungen sind in Tabelle 1 zusammengestellt. Zusätzlich erfolgte die Charakterisierung der Bruchzähigkeit der Prothesenbasismaterialien durch die Bestimmung der Gesamtbrucharbeit Wf E bis zur Verringerung der bestehenden Last auf 5% der Höchstlast an gekerbten Probekörpern der Abmessungen 8 mm × 4 mm × 39 mm nach Konditionierung und Wasserlagerung analog DIN EN ISO 20795-1. Hierfür wurde ein Wert für Wf E von 198,4 J/m2 erhalten. Tabelle 1

- Unter Verwendung des gleichen Polymethylmethacrylat-freien schlagzäh modifizierten Perlpolymerisates mit einem mittleren Partikeldurchmesser von 49,02 µm aus dem Beispiel 1 wurde entsprechend der ebenfalls in Beispiel 1 angegebenen Gesamtzusammensetzung und Vorgehensweise ein hypoallergener Polymethylmethacrylat-freier Prothesenbasiskunststoff hergestellt, wobei die Formulierung jedoch als ein kaltpolymerisierendes Pulver-/Flüssigkeits-System so erfolgte, dass das Pulver das Perlpolymerisat, das Dibenzoylperoxid, das silanisierte Si-Ba-Al-F-Dentalglas sowie das Farbmittel enthielt, während die restlichen Komponenten Bestandteile der Flüssigkeit waren. An diesem Prothesenbasismaterial wurden analog den Prüfbedingungen des Beispiels 1 Verarbeitungszeit, Erhärtungszeit und Biegemodul nach Konditionierung und Wasserlagerung nach DIN EN ISO 20795-1 ermittelt und in Tabelle 1 angegeben.
- Dieses Beispiel belegt im Vergleich zu Beispiel 1 das deutlich verbesserte Verarbeitungsverhalten des Prothesenbasismaterials in Form verkürzter Verarbeitungs- und Erhärtungszeiten sowie die wesentlich besseren mechanischen Eigenschaften in Form eines erhöhten Biegemoduls, die durch eine Formulierung des Prothesenbasiskunststoffs als Paste-/Paste-System im Gegensatz zu einem Pulver-/Flüssigkeits-System erzielt werden können.

- Dieses Beispiel verdeutlicht, dass trotz eines relativ elastischen Perlpolymerisates infolge des erhöhten Gehaltes des reaktiven Schlagzähmodifikators durch die Formulierung als Paste-/Paste-System Prothesenbasiskunststoffe hergestellt werden können, die die Mindestanforderungen der DIN EN ISO 20795-1 an autopolymerisierbare Kunststoffe (Typ 2) bezüglich des Biegemoduls von 1500 MPa sehr gut erfüllen, was durch eine Formulierung als Pulver-/Flüssigkeits-System selbst bei wesentlich geringeren Anteilen an reaktivem Schlagzähmodifikator im Perlpolymerisat (siehe Beispiel 2 - Vergleichsbeispiel) nicht gelingt.
- Beispiel 5 (Vergleichsbeispiel)
- Als handelsübliches kaltpolymerisierendes, methylmethacrylatfreies, aber ein Polymethylmethacrylat als Perlpolymerisat enthaltendes Zweikomponenten-Prothesenmaterial wurde Alldent Sinomer Kalt N der Firma: Novodent Ets., Eschen, LI, verwendet, entsprechend der beiliegenden Empfehlung verarbeitet, dabei die Verarbeitungs- und Erhärtungszeiten bestimmt sowie entsprechende Probekörper der Abmessungen 8 mm × 4 mm × 39 mm nach DIN EN ISO 20795-1 hergestellt. Nach mindestens einwöchiger Konditionierung bei Raumtemperatur und 24 h Lagerung im Normklima wurden die gekerbten Probekörper bezüglich der die Bruchzähigkeit der Prothesenbasiskunststoffe charakterisierenden Eigenschaft Gesamtbrucharbeit Wf E bis zur Verringerung der bestehenden Last auf 5% der Höchstlast analog DIN EN ISO 20795-1 ohne Wasserlagerung geprüft. Die Charakterisierung der Steifigkeit der Prothesenbasismaterialien erfolgte an ungekerbten Probekörpern der gleichen Abmessungen durch die Bestimmung des Biegemoduls E mittels Dynamisch-Mechanischer Analyse (DMA) im Temperaturbereich von -20°C bis 190°C und wird für 25°C angegeben. Die Ergebnisse der Prüfungen sind in Tabelle 2 im Vergleich zu denen des unter gleichen Prüfbedingungen für den in Beispiel 1 erhaltenen Prothesenbasiskunststoffs zusammengefasst. Tabelle 2

*) ohne Wasserlagerung - Der Vergleich in Tabelle 2 belegt das wesentlich verbesserte Verarbeitungsverhalten der Prothesenbasismaterialien durch verkürzte Verarbeitungs- und Erhärtungszeiten sowie die wesentlich besseren mechanischen Eigenschaften hinsichtlich des Biegemoduls als Ausdruck der Steifigkeit als auch hinsichtlich der die Zähigkeit charakterisierenden Gesamtbrucharbeit der erfindungsgemäßen hypoallergenen Polymethylmethacrylat-freien Prothesenbasiskunststoffe im Vergleich zu üblichen hypoallergenen Prothesenbasismaterialien.
Claims (4)
- Zweikomponenten-Pastensystem zur Herstellung eines hypoallergenen Polymethylmethacrylat-freien Prothesenbasiskunststoffs enthaltend a) 39 bis 55 Masseprozent eines Polymethylmethacrylat-freien schlagzäh modifizierten Perlpolymerisates welches Glycidylmethacrylat, vorzugsweise Bisphenol-A-Glycidylmethacrylat, Dimethacrylate, vorzugsweise Diurethandimethacrylat und Hexandioldimethacrylat, Trimethacrylat, vorzugweise Trimethylolpropantrimethacrylat, sowie einen reaktiven Flüssigkautschuk enthält und einen mittleren Partikeldurchmesser von 10 µm bis 140 µm aufweist b) 60 bis 19 Masseprozent eines Monomergemisches aus bi- und/oder mehrfunktionellen Methacrylaten c) 0,2 bis 10 Masseprozent eines reaktiven Flüssigkautschuks als reaktiver Schlagzähigkeitsmodifikator d) 0,01 bis 3 Masseprozent eines silanisierten ultrahochmolekularen Polyethylens als reaktives faserförmiges Verstärkungsmaterial e) 0,1 bis 3 Masseprozent eines Initiierungssystems enthaltend als oxidierende Komponente ein Peroxid und als reduzierende Komponente N,N-Dihydroxyethyl-p-toluidin. f) 0,01 bis 10 Masseprozent eines oder mehrerer Zusatzstoffe, ausgewählt aus den Gruppen - Polymerisationsinhibitoren, Molekulargewichtsregler, - Farbstoffe, Pigmente, Opaker, UV-Stabilisatoren, Weichmacher, Rheologie-Additive, Dispergier-Additive, antimikrobielle Additive, - anorganische Füllstoffe wie Dentalgläser, Glaskeramiken, Nanopartikel, Silikate und/oder Siliciumdioxid, - sowie sonstige Zusatzstoffe wobei - die Basispaste und die Katalysatorpaste gleiche Anteile der Bestandteile a) bis d) und f) enthalten, während das Peroxid nur in der Basispaste und N,N-Dihydroxyethyl-p-toluidin nur in der Katalysatorpaste enthalten sind.
- Zweikomponenten-Pastensystem nach
Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Monomergemisch aus bi- und/oder mehrfunktionellen Methacrylaten Verbindungen enthält, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe der bifunktionellen Methacrylate Ethylenglykoldimethacrylat, 1,6-Hexandioldimethacrylat, Triethylenglykoldimethacrylat, 1,10-Decandioldimethacrylat, 1, 1 2-Dodecandioldimethacrylat, ethoxylierte Bisphenol-A-dimethacrylate, Polyethylenglykoldimethacrylate, Urethandimethacrylate, höhermolekularer Urethandimethacrylate wie Exothane, Butandioldimethacrylat, Tetraethylenglykoldimethacrylat, Neopentylglykoldimethacrylat, 2-Hydroxypropyl-1,3-dimethacrylat, 3-Hydroxypropyl-1,2-dimethacrylat, Pentaerythritoldimethacrylat, Glycerindimethacrylat, Bisphenol-A-Glycidylmethacrylat und/oder Dimethacrylaten des Dihydroxymethyltricyclo[5.2.1.02,6]decans, sowie aus der Gruppe der mehrfunktionellen Methacrylate Trimethylolpropantrimethacrylat und/oder Pentaerythritoltetramethacrylat. - Zweikomponenten-Pastensystem nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das silanisierte ultrahochmolekulare Polyethylen eine Faserlänge von 0,1 µm bis 3 mm aufweist.
- Zweikomponenten-Pastensystem nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Initiierungssystem als oxidierende Komponente Dibenzoylperoxid und als reduzierende Komponente N,N-Dihydroxyethyl-p-toluidin enthält.
