The subject of the present invention is an electrical actuating device for opening and closing a motor vehicle, in particular an electric lock (3) on a motor vehicle door (2). The device is equipped with an electric drive (4) and a body-side power source (5) and an external power source (6). Both energy sources (5, 6) are taken individually for acting on the drive (4). According to the invention, the external energy source (6) is connected to the electric drive (4) via a standard interface (7).

Description

  • The invention relates to an electric actuator for opening and closing a motor vehicle, in particular an electric lock on a motor vehicle door, with an electric drive and a body-side power source and an external power source, each taken to act on the drive.
  • In a so-called electric lock is a special motor vehicle door lock, in which the associated closing elements, ie in particular the locking mechanism, are electrically applied by means of the electric drive. Often, such electric locks additionally have a mechanical connection to a door handle, in particular an outside door handle and an inside door handle.   • In addition, electrical control devices for opening and closing a motor vehicle are known, which act as a closing aid respectively opening device for a motor vehicle door equipped therewith.   • All the actuators or electrically actuated motor vehicle door locks require the motor vehicle-side energy source for their proper functioning, which is generally an accumulator located in the motor vehicle. Such accumulators are vulnerable, especially as regards their discharge after a longer downtime of one or more weeks. In addition, low temperatures also have a negative effect on the state of charge.   • For this reason, the generic prior art proposes the DE 10 2004 039 187 A1 an electric locking device for a motor vehicle, in which the closing device comprises a connection means to which an outside of the motor vehicle located energy source can be connected. As a result, the energy for opening and closing can also be supplied by the energy source located outside the motor vehicle. The relevant energy source in the example described is a so-called ID transmitter, that is generally a remote-controlled key.
  • This ID transmitter is placed in a receptacle within the scope of the known teaching. The receptacle can be arranged in the foot of a side mirror of the motor vehicle. As a result, the recording is basically accessible from the outside. However, the electrical energy provided by an ID transmitter is generally insufficient to open all electric locks. A closing aid or an electric opening drive for a motor vehicle door can not be operated hereby.   • This can essentially be attributed to the fact that such ID transmitters or radio keys are equipped with a button cell as an energy source which provides a voltage of only 3V. The capacity of the button cells used in this context is usually limited to 1000 mAh. Since generally the electrical drives used in the interior of the motor vehicle require a voltage of 12 V and depending on the load to be handled flows of several amperes (must), it is clear that such ID transmitter and in particular the button cells therein as external energy source in practice or only very limited use can find. This is where the invention starts.
  • The invention is based on the technical problem of further developing such an electrical actuating device so that a reliable and permanent operation is ensured even in the event of a failure or a functional impairment of the motor vehicle-side energy source.
  • To solve this technical problem, a generic electrical actuator is within the scope of the invention characterized in that the external power source via a standard interface to the electric drive is connectable. That is, by resorting to the external power source, if necessary, this external power source is connected to the electric drive via the standard interface. The external power source is then connected to the drive via the standard interface.
  • Standard interface in this context means an interface, as used in practice regularly in computer bus systems comes. That is, for the coupling of the external power source to the motor vehicle, the invention relies on a conventional interface, the standard interface, an interface otherwise used in computer bus systems.
  • In this context, the standard interface works mostly serial, which concerns a supplementary data transfer. That is, the standard interface serves both for the transmission of data and electrical energy. Mostly it is a so-called USB interface, so one that belongs to the so-called "Universal Serial Bus". Such standard interfaces can also be used for electrical power supply (in addition to data transmission). Because the standard interface in question is usually suitable for electrical currents up to 5000 mA and in particular up to 2000 mA for the supply of the electric drive. The applied voltages are regularly DC voltages in the low voltage range up to approx. 30 V.
  • The use of such a standard interface, as is commonly used in computer bus systems and is also used, for example, in the context of mobile telephony, makes it possible to connect a commercially available external energy source via the standard interface to the motor vehicle. The external energy source is thus advantageously a mobile additional accumulator. Such additional mobile accumulators are also known in the jargon as "power pack". Regularly such additional mobile accumulators have a capacity of 10,000 mAh to 20,000 mAh. In addition, an output voltage of mostly 12 V is provided, as it is also required for the external supply of mobile devices such as mobile phones, tablets, computers, etc.
  • In this way, the external energy source is already alone - without the assistance of the body or motor vehicle side energy source - able to open, for example, all electric locks of a motor vehicle. Also Zuzieh- or opening aids for a motor vehicle door can be energized hereby easily, because the mentioned additional accumulators provide currents of several amperes langandauernd available (at least), at least until the desired electric lock or the multiple electric locks respectively the vehicle door is opened. As a result, the electrical actuating device according to the invention is particularly suitable for an emergency opening or an emergency release of the relevant electric lock.
  • As an alternative to the additional mobile accumulator can be used as an external power source but also on a network adapter. In this case, the electric drive is usually operated via a voltage converter and rectifier, for example with the aid of a domestic AC voltage. In the simplest case, this can even be a (commercially available battery) charger, which not only ensures the desired door opening via the standard interface, but is also basically suitable for recharging the body-side accumulator or, in general, the body-side energy source, if it is unloaded.
  • In addition, advantageously, a sensor unit is realized, which is interposed between the body-side power source and the standard interface. With the help of this sensor unit, the body-side power source can be checked with regard to their functionality and the state of charge. Depending on the state of charge and functionality of the body-side power source, the external power source is connected in parallel with the body-side power source. As a result, the body-side power source can at least support the opening and closing operation by means of the external power source. Moreover, it is even conceivable that the body-side energy source is at least partially (re) charged via the external energy source. It should be noted that the terms body-side and vehicle-side are used as synonyms. This refers to a connection which is arranged on the motor vehicle. Alternatively, a connection via a detachable from the motor vehicle connection is possible. For example, one, z.   • For the arrangement of the standard interface used according to the invention fundamentally different positions and mounting locations in or on the motor vehicle are conceivable and are encompassed. That is, the standard interface can be realized outside the motor vehicle and / or inside. Here, in principle, external attachment locations such as in or on the exterior mirror, in the vicinity of the lock cylinder, in or on the outer door handle, behind a license plate holder, etc. have proven to be particularly favorable. In most cases, however, the standard interface in question is placed inside the motor vehicle. In this case, the standard interface in question can be combined with one or more further interfaces.   • To protect the standard interface from mechanical and other external influences, it typically has a removable cover. Alternatively or additionally, a protective cap can also be provided.   1.
