Dies wird nach der Erfindung erreicht, indem das Einsatzelement eine Bohrung zur Aufnahme einer Wischerachse für einen Scheibenwischer nahe einer Scheibenunterkante aufweist und in den Ausschnitt einer aus einem Verbundglas bestehenden Heckscheibe einsetzbar ist. Diese besteht aus einer oberen Scheibe und einer unteren Scheibe und am Außenrand des Ausschnitts der Scheibe ist zwischen der oberen und der unteren Scheibe ein Versatz, durch eine Verkürzung der oberen Scheibe, ausgebildet. In diesen Versatz ist ein Rand des Einsatzelements mit einem oberen Schenkel angeordnet, der mit seiner Außenoberfläche bündig mit einer Außenoberfläche der oberen Scheibe der Heckscheibe verläuft und der Schenkel zur oberen Scheibe einen fugenfreien Übergang bildet.
