It is the object of the present invention to provide a method for producing an illuminated component for the interior of a vehicle and a method for forming a lighting arrangement in the interior of a vehicle, through which a component or a lighting arrangement is created with which a sharply defined, homogeneous Light emission is generated.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by a method with the features of
In the method according to the invention for producing an illuminated component for the interior of the vehicle, a cladding element is formed in a first region in a tool by injection molding, with a second and a third region of the tool being kept free by a slide. The slider is then moved so that it releases the second area and keeps the third area free. Subsequently, an opaque viewing element is formed in the second region in the tool by injection molding, forming a visible surface of the component. The slider is then moved so that it also opens the third area. Subsequently, an at least partially translucent base element, which is in particular opaque, is formed in the third region in the tool by injection molding, so that the viewing element and the base element form a common connecting surface, with a luminous surface of the component adjacent to the visible surface of the viewing element the base element is formed, with light emerging from the illuminable component via this luminous surface of the base element when the component is illuminated.
The advantage of the production of the illuminable component according to the invention is that the cladding element, the viewing element and the base element are firmly connected to one another as an integral component, without it being necessary to maintain large tolerances for the components, even if the elements are made of different materials and if the component is very long and narrow. In addition, the method according to the invention ensures that the component is stable. Furthermore, the manufacturing process is cost-effective because additional assembly costs are saved that would otherwise arise from assembling separate elements. Finally, the method according to the invention ensures that a component is created with which a sharply defined, homogeneous light emission can be generated.
In the method according to the invention, a first decorative film is introduced into the tool before the cladding part is injected and the cladding part is then sprayed onto the first decorative film. Furthermore, according to the invention, after the cladding element has been injected, a second decorative film is introduced into the tool and the visible element is then sprayed onto the second decorative film. A so-called IMD (In-Mold-Decoration) process is used as the manufacturing process. In particular, the surface of the cladding element is colored differently than the surface of the visible element. This design of the method makes it possible, in particular, to produce very thin and long decorative elements, for example for the door panel of the vehicle.
In the method according to the invention for forming a lighting arrangement in the interior of a vehicle, an illuminated component is produced by the method described above. The component is then arranged in the interior of the vehicle in such a way that the surface formed by the viewing element and the luminous surface face the interior of the vehicle. In addition, a light source arrangement is arranged in the vehicle in such a way that its light emission is coupled into a light coupling surface of the component and is coupled out into the interior of the vehicle via the light surface of the component. Advantageously, a lighting arrangement is thus integrated into the interior of the vehicle, which can provide a very narrow, elongated light exit joint via the light output surface. The integration into the interior of the vehicle is advantageously seamless with regard to the cladding element, the base element and the viewing element.
The illuminable component for the interior of a vehicle is characterized in that the viewing element is designed to be opaque and the base element is designed to be opaque. Furthermore, a luminous surface of the component is formed by the base element adjacent to the visible surface of the visible element, with light emerging from the illuminable component via this luminous surface of the base element when the component is illuminated. The illuminable component is therefore an integral component comprising a base element and a viewing element, in which the luminous surface provided by the opaque base element is delimited by the opaque viewing element. Due to the firm connection between the visual element and the Base element is advantageously provided with a sharply defined luminous surface, over which light is emitted with homogeneous light emission.
According to a further development of the component, the base element has a light coupling surface for coupling in light to illuminate the component. The base element is designed such that light coupled in via the light coupling surface is scattered on the way to the luminous surface, which represents a light coupling surface. In particular, a diffuse light emission is generated on the luminous surface.
For the purposes of the invention, diffuse light emission means that the light emission is not directed, but rather occurs in a variety of different directions due to a large number of scattering centers. Unlike lens elements that produce parallel, converging or diverging light beams, i.e. directional light emission, the light emission in diffuse light emission is not directional. For example, a parallel incident light beam can be reflected according to Lambert's law or large-angle scattering can be generated.
The diffuse light emission is generated by the opaque design of the base element. For the purposes of the invention, an opaque design of the base element means that light passes at least partially through the base element. However, when light passes through, the light rays passing through are deflected, so that the base element is only translucent, but not transparent. The base element appears milky or cloudy. The opaque design of the base element advantageously ensures that the incident light is distributed in the base element in such a way that a substantially homogeneous light emission occurs over the luminous surface.
According to one embodiment of the component, the visible element is a coating of the base element. The connection of the base element to the visible element can be produced, for example, by multi-component injection molding, in particular two-component injection molding. The visible element is, for example, a decorative element made of a plastic or a metal, in particular a chrome coating. In this way, it is advantageously possible to produce even very long components, such as decorative panels, which provide a sharply defined luminous surface. This also reduces assembly costs and simplifies the assembly process.
According to a further embodiment of the component, the component further comprises a cladding element. The cladding element is firmly connected to the visible element. In this case, the illuminable component is an integral component comprising a base element and a viewing element and a cladding element. In particular, the color of the surface of the cladding element differs from the color of the surface of the visible element. In this way, the visible element acts as an insert in the cladding element, although the visible element is firmly connected to the cladding element. For example, the cladding element, the visible element and the base element may have been produced by three-component injection molding.
According to one embodiment of the component, the luminous surface of the base element is linear. In particular, a very narrow and long line is created. The width of this line is in particular less than 1 mm. The line is z. B. several centimeters, in particular several dozen centimeters long. In this way, for example, a very narrow, elongated light exit joint is provided.
The component can be, for example, a door trim element for a vehicle, in particular a door decorative strip, by means of which ambient lighting is provided for the door of the vehicle.
A lighting arrangement in the interior of a vehicle includes the illuminable component described above. This component is arranged in the interior of the vehicle in such a way that the surface formed by the viewing element and the luminous surface face the interior of the vehicle. The lighting arrangement further comprises a light source arrangement, the light emission of which can be coupled into the light coupling surface of the component and coupled out into the interior of the vehicle via the luminous surface of the component. The lighting arrangement is in particular part of a door panel. Since it includes the component, it also has the same advantages as this component.
According to one embodiment of the lighting arrangement, the light source arrangement comprises a light source and a light guide. The light guide is arranged from the interior of the vehicle behind the illuminable component, so that the light emission of the light guide only reaches the interior of the vehicle through the illuminable component, the light being scattered as it passes through the component. This advantageously creates a sharply defined, diffusely radiating, homogeneous luminous surface in the interior of the vehicle.
The light guide has, in particular, light decoupling structures designed as notches. These light coupling structures are arranged asymmetrically, for example, with the densest distribution being located in particular adjacent to the light coupling surface of the illuminable component, so that the light coupled out by the light guide is coupled into the base element of the component. According to another embodiment, the densest distribution of the light coupling structures is on the side that is opposite the light coupling surface of the light guide, into which the light emitted by the light source is coupled.
If the illuminable component of the lighting arrangement provides a line-shaped luminous surface, this line-shaped luminous surface, according to a further development of the lighting arrangement, preferably adjoins the viewing element on one side and a cladding element for the interior of the vehicle on the other side. This advantageously forms a narrow luminous line in the lining of the interior of the vehicle.
According to a further development of the lighting arrangement, it has a holder to which the illuminable component and the light guide of the light source arrangement are attached. The light guide is held by the holder in particular by positive locking. For example, the light guide can be held at three points or along three lines. The illuminable component is inserted, for example, between a cladding element and the holder. Furthermore, the holder is particularly opaque. It provides a light barrier which ensures that the light emitted by the light source is advantageously coupled out into the interior of the vehicle only via the luminous surface.

According to one embodiment of the exemplary embodiment, the
According to a further exemplary embodiment, the
The
The light emitted by the
The
- The
component 1 is manufactured in a multi-component IMD (In-Mold-Decoration) process. For the injection molding, a tool was produced which corresponds to the desired shape of thecomponent 1. A decorative film is introduced into the tool, which carries the desired color of the visible surface of the cladding element 14. A first area is left in the tool for injection molding. A second and a third area, however, is kept free by a slider. During the spraying process, no material can get into the second and third areas. These areas are closed by the slider. The material for the cladding element 14 is now injected into the tool in the first area, so that the cladding element 14 is formed in this area by injection molding. The surface of the cladding element 14 absorbs the color of the first decorative film, so that it is coated with this color.
The slider is then moved so that it releases the second area, but still keeps the third area free. The third area is therefore still closed, so that no material can get into this area during the subsequent injection molding step. Now a second decorative film for the
The material for the
The slider is now moved so that it also opens the third area. For example, the slide is completely removed from the tool. Now the material for the
After the injection molding process has been completed, the
The
