Die Erfindung löst die Aufgabe mit einem Getriebe mit einer Eingangswelle, mit einer Ausgangswelle, mit mindestens einer ersten Kupplung und einer zweiten Kupplung, mit mindestens einem ersten Losrad, einem zweiten Losrad und einem dritten Losrad, welche drehbar mit der Eingangswelle und/oder der Ausgangswelle verbunden sind, und mit mindestens einem ersten Festrad, einem zweiten Festrad und einem dritten Festrad, welche drehfest mit der Ausgangswelle und/oder der Eingangswelle verbunden sind, wobei die Losräder und die Festräder jeweils paarweise miteinander kämmen, wobei durch die erste Kupplung das erste Losrad und das zweite Losrad drehfest mit der Eingangswelle oder der Ausgangswelle verbindbar sind, wobei durch die zweite Kupplung das dritte Losrad drehfest mit der Eingangswelle oder der Ausgangswelle verbindbar ist, wobei die erste Kupplung und die zweite Kupplung derartig mittelbar oder unmittelbar miteinander gekoppelt sind, dass in dem Fall, dass die erste Kupplung die drehfeste Verbindung zwischen der Eingangswelle oder der Ausgangswelle und dem ersten Losrad oder dem zweiten Losrad aufhebt, die zweite Kupplung das dritte Losrad drehfest mit der Eingangswelle oder der Ausgangswelle verbindet, und dass in dem Fall, dass die erste Kupplung das erste Losrad oder das zweite Losrad drehfest mit der Eingangswelle oder der Ausgangswelle verbindet, die zweite Kupplung die drehfeste Verbindung des dritten Losrads mit der Eingangswelle oder der Ausgangswelle aufhebt. In dem erfindungsgemäßen Getriebe sind zumindest drei Fest- und drei Losräder vorgesehen, welche jeweils paarweise miteinander kämmen. Weiterhin sind zwei Kupplungen vorgesehen. Die erste Kupplung verbindet entweder das erste oder das zweite Losrad drehfest mit der Welle, auf welcher sich die Losräder befinden. Die zweite Kupplung erzeugt eine drehfeste Verbindung zwischen dem dritten Losrad und der zugeordneten Welle. Erfindungsgemäß sind die erste und die zweite Kupplung derartig miteinander gekoppelt, dass während des Schaltvorganges zwischen zwei Gängen ein dritter Gang eingebracht und somit die Zugkraftunterbrechung quasi aufgefüllt wird.
