Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a door device for a household appliance, with a first door which is pivotable about an axis. Furthermore, the invention relates to a cooking appliance with such a door device.

Domestic appliances in the form of cooking appliances, such as an oven, include a cooking chamber bounded by walls of a muffle. A front loading opening of this muffle is closed by a door. This door usually comprises a glass door outer pane and a glass inner door pane. A door device according to the invention for a household appliance comprises a first door, which is pivotable about an axis. The door device comprises at least one separate second door, which is pivotable relative to the first door, wherein the two doors are arranged one behind the other in a first closed end position. It is preferably provided that the second door is formed on a plate-like front part at least in regions with a heat radiation-reflecting coating.
