Die Erfindung betrifft ein fächerförmiges Verstärkungsprofil für eine Tragstruktur eines Kraftfahrzeugs. Die Erfindung betrifft des Weiteren ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einer Tragstruktur, an der ein fächerförmiges Verstärkungsprofil befestigt ist. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, das Verformungsverhalten eines fächerförmigen Verstärkungsprofils für eine Tragstruktur eines Kraftfahrzeugs zu verbessern. Die Aufgabe ist bei einem fächerförmigen Verstärkungsprofil für eine Tragstruktur eines Kraftfahrzeugs dadurch gelöst, dass das Verstärkungsprofil aus einem faserverstärkten Kunststoffmaterial gebildet und in mindestens einem Außenabschnitt mit einem Metallblechmaterial versehen ist. Ein bevorzugtes Ausführungsbeispiel des fächerförmigen Verstärkungsprofils ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Verstärkungsprofil aus dem faserverstärkten Kunststoffmaterial in einem mittleren Bereich mit dem Metallblechmaterial versehen ist. In seinen Endbereichen ist das faserverstärkte Kunststoffmaterial besonders bevorzugt nicht mit dem Metallblechmaterial versehen beziehungsweise verbunden.
