Die Erfindung betrifft im Wesentlichen ein System, bei dem anhand der Häufigkeit der Toilettenbesuche und durch Vergleich mit entsprechenden Erfahrungswerten die Passagierauslastung eines jeweiligen Zuges und die Passagierverteilung auf die einzelnen Wagen des jeweiligen Zuges mit geringem Aufwand abgeschätzt werden. Durch eine optionale Kombination mit weiteren zusätzlichen Sensorinformationen können weitere Schlussfolgerungen getroffen werden und beispielsweise Probleme erkannt werden. Auf diese Weise können auf einen jeweiligen Zug wartende Passagiere bspw. vorab darüber informiert werden wie voll der Zug bereits ist und in welchem Wagen am wahrscheinlichsten noch Plätze frei sind. Darüber hinaus kann der Zugbegleiter Störungen insbesondere im Bereich der Toiletten schneller und besser erkennen bzw. abstellen und der Betreiber kann Auslastungsdaten usw. in einfacher Weise für eine Optimierung sammeln.The invention essentially relates to a system in which the passenger utilization of a respective train and the passenger distribution to the individual cars of the respective train are estimated with little effort on the basis of the frequency of the toilet visits and by comparison with corresponding empirical values.
