Abstract
Description
Technisches GebietTechnical area
The present invention relates to a dust collecting apparatus used for collecting and collecting dust and airborne particles inside an air passage of an HVAC system.
Stand der TechnikState of the art
A heating, ventilation, air conditioning and cooling system, also known as HVAC, is a system typically installed in industrial plants, office buildings or high-rise buildings to regulate air for safety and health. The air generated and regulated by a single or multiple air conditioning systems is circulated through main air ducts and through several associated secondary ducts to each corner in rooms or buildings. Although filters are installed in these air-conditioning systems and devices or in air outlets for filtering the air, the cleaning of the passage tubes of these main air ducts or side channels proves to be rather difficult because of their size and the several pipe curves, so that in the long run dust, small particles and Other foreign matter accumulates on the inner walls of these air ducts and thus the cleanliness of this air flowing through it can no longer be guaranteed, which can cause respiratory problems and diseases of the trachea. The main object of the present invention is therefore to provide an air filter device in whose air duct accumulation of dust and dirt particles is prevented.
Aufgabe der ErfindungObject of the invention
To solve the above-mentioned problem, a dust collecting device for an air passage is installed in the inner wall thereof. This dust collecting device is constructed of a series of dust collecting pipes, each of these dust collecting pipes having a different diameter. These dust collecting tubes are arranged concentrically, d. H. the tube with a smaller diameter is accommodated in a tube with a larger diameter. On the inner wall of all dust collecting pipes a reusable adhesive layer is applied, with which these dust collecting pipes are fastened together and the dust or airborne debris and particles are collected. This adhesive layer is also applied to the outer wall of the outermost dust collecting pipe to secure it to the air duct. Along each tube, a pull cord is arranged, which is tied at both ends of these tubes, so that when covering the adhesive layer with dust or particles this adhesive layer loses its function and can be pulled out by pulling on the drawstring, with a fresh adhesive layer on the Next channel can be applied, with which the dust and particles are collected. An antibiotic, germicidal, odor-improving agent, or combination of these three agents may additionally be mixed with the adhesive layer to enhance the filtration function of the device.
- 1. By inserting a series of soft tubes with an adhesive layer within the air duct or air passage, dust, small particles or other contaminants may be accumulated on the adhesive layer by sticking. In contrast to the conventional embodiment, in which dust and foreign bodies, which are smaller than the holes of the filter mesh and therefore can pass through them and affect people in the long term harmful to health, can with the adhesive layer these floating in the air dust particles and foreign bodies in different Sizes are caught, which stick to this adhesive layer to significantly improve the quality and purity of the circulating air within the building.
- 2. Even if the filters, which are used in conventional air ducts or in air outlet openings, are pulled out for cleaning, the cleaning inside the air duct is associated with a lot of work. The maintenance personnel usually go either directly into the air duct for cleaning the air ducts or the air ducts are cleaned with the aid of a robot. Although the maintenance personnel entering directly into the air ducts can clean these ducts perfectly inside, the diameter of the secondary ducts which are connected to the main air duct and branch off from it is too small and therefore these side ducts are inaccessible to maintenance personnel for internal cleaning. These inaccessible to people secondary channels can be cleaned inside with the help of a robot, but the cost of this cleaning is too high for small and medium enterprises. In addition to this high cost and the functional area is limited because of the receipt of the robot, and since in addition these air passageways are mostly made of metal, the reception is constantly impaired. The insertion of the dust collector requires no Specialists, also to operate the robot, so that the cost is reduced. In addition, the user can easily and quickly pull out the channel with the pull cord.
