Abstract
Description
1. Technisches Gebiet1. Technical area
The artificial Shipping routes (shipping channels) are as far as possible existing terrain customized. At the same time, the water level of the artificial shipping lanes becomes held horizontally. To overcome of height differences, not by dams or cuts in the existing terrain can be compensated or descent structures in the horizontal route be turned on.
Dazu werden Schleusen oder Schiffshebewerke verwendet. To Locks or boat lifts are used.
2. Stand der Technik2. State of the art

- • to guide the ships into standing chambers and to change the water level in the chambers
- • move the ships in a vertical, inclined or rotating form.

- • or moved over floats in flooded or divergent diving shafts (Taucherkörper Hebewerk)
- • or two troughs with a balanced weight by pumping water in the buoyancy chambers. (Hydraulic lift)
Schräg-SchiffshebewerkeSkew boat lifts
(Wasserkeil)
- • movable troughs. These are moved up and down rails by means of counterweights on an inclined plane. (Oblique-lift)
- • or on trolleys moved on rails above a suitable level (Schiffs Eisenbahn, Marine Railway)
- • or floating on a water wedge moving upwards or downwards on an inclined plane by moving a sealing gate. (Water wedge)
Rotation SchiffshebewerkeRotation ship lifts
The ships are in conveyor troughs, the As gondolas are rotatably mounted in a Ferris wheel so that the horizontal position of the troughs a rotation of the wheel is maintained.
By half a turn of the wheel swap the conveyor troughs their position and so can quickly over size Heights raised and lowered.
The Troughs are mechanically stored. The loads of the structure and the troughs together the ships have to be absorbed by the ground.

5. Erläuterung des Betriebsablaufes5. Explanation of the operation
- • Start-up and shut-down phase The boat lifting drum is at rest. The two ship tunnels are on top of each other. The entrance gates of both ship tunnels are open. The exit gates are closed. - From the bottom of the navigation channel (underwater), the ships enter the tunnel below, are fastened to the laterally arranged floating bars and closed the entrance. - From the overhead navigation channel, the ships enter the overhead tunnel and are moored to the laterally arranged floating bollards and closed the entrance. - The gate at the final structure is closed and the space between the hoist drum and the final structure drained.
- • Turning phase The entrance gates and the exit gates are closed. The boat lifting drum is set in a rotating motion.
- • The ship lifting drum is z. B. set in motion that low-pressure tires are offset with low contact pressure and a hydrostatic drive in a uniform motion. Alternatively I The movement can also be created by pumping water between control tanks from one side to the other and then out of the mountain ship's tunnel into the drowning ship's tunnel. Alternative II The movement can also be created by pumping water on one side into laterally arranged containers.
- • Arrival and extension phases The two shipping tunnels are stacked on top of each other. Their position is interchanged. The entrance and exit gates are closed. - The ship lifting drum is connected in a watertight manner to the upper shipping channel in the area of the overhead ship tunnel. - The space between the gate of the upper ship tunnel and the final gate of the upper shipping lane is flooded. - The final gate of the upper shipping lane opens. - The exit doors of both ship tunnels are opened. - The ships leave and continue their journey after overcoming the difference in altitude.
