Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung sowie des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens zum Bereitstellen größerer Mengen an Druckluft sind dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
- – die Verteileinheit oder wenigstens eine der Verteileinheiten von dem fahrbaren Untersatz trennbar ausgebildet sind,
- – das Fassungsvermögen der Druckgasspeicher wenigstens 100 Nm3 beträgt und
- – die Druckgasspeicher im Wesentlichen zylindersymmetrisch ausgebildet sind.

Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung sowie das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren zum Bereitstellen größerer Mengen an Druckluft weisen nunmehr eine Vielzahl von Vorteilen gegenüber dem Stand der Technik auf; diese sind im Folgenden stichpunktartig aufgeführt:
- – Vermeidung größerer Mengen einzelner Druckgasflaschen,
- – Vermeidung des Transports einzelner Druckgasflaschen und damit einhergehend eine Reduzierung der Transportkosten,
- – Vermeidung von Druckluftverlusten durch Rückführung der Druckluft aus teilweise entleerten Druckgasspeichern,
- – Verringerung der Stand-by-Zeit, da kein Druckgasflaschenwechsel mehr erforderlich ist,
- – sicheres Handling im Vergleich zu Druckgasflaschen,
- – Reduzierung der für die Bereitstellung der Druckluft erforderlichen Kosten bis zu 40 %,
- – Möglichkeit der Druckluftbereitstellung auch an Orten, an denen keine Versorgung mit elektrischer Energie gegeben ist.
- - avoidance of large quantities of individual compressed gas cylinders,
- - avoiding the transport of individual compressed gas cylinders and, consequently, a reduction in transport costs,
- - Prevention of compressed air losses due to the return of compressed air from partially emptied compressed gas storage tanks,
- - Reduction of the stand-by time, since no more compressed gas cylinder change is required,
- - safe handling compared to compressed gas cylinders,
- - reduction of the costs required to supply compressed air up to 40%,
- - Possibility of compressed air supply even in places where there is no supply of electrical energy.
