Abstract

The sheet has a carrier (12) made from glass fleece, and compound plies (16, 18) made of ethylene co-polymer-bitumen or flexible polyolefin, applied on upper and lower sides of the sheet. Protection films (20, 22) are applied on outer sides of the sheet, and a cemented PES fleece provided on the lower side. Threads (14) made from glass fiber run in the longitudinal under a mutual spacing in the carrier, where the fibers have a constant spacing between one another. The glass fleece has a grammage of 50-80 grams/square meter.

Description

The The invention relates to a roofing membrane based on Plastics, for example ethylene copolymer bitumen (ECB) or for example, flexible polyolefins (FPO) with a carrier a glass fleece, one applied to the bottom and top Compound of, for example, ECB or, for example, FPO and optionally with on their outsides applied protective films. For bonding with the substrate can on the underside, instead of a protective film, a PES fleece was also applied be.

A Roof waterproofing membrane of this type is among other things as single-layered Waterproofing for protection against rain and weather and weather conditions on EPS or mineral wool thermal insulation used. If you are using an ECB Compound, they may contain the prior art roofing membranes a glass fleece with a basis weight from 25 to 80 gsm and when using an FPO compound a glass fleece with a basis weight 25 to 150 gsm. Such a roofing membrane must pass through German and European Standards required fire properties. To check the Fire properties will include one consisting of metal rods and with a combustible material, like wood wool, filled basket placed on the roof waterproofing membrane. The wood wool or other flammable material is infected, burns off under heat and the roof waterproofing membrane is intended to be, for example, according to DIN 4102 Part 7 required fire properties. In general has the trained according to the above prior art roofing membrane the required fire properties not on. The glass fleece sinters After burning off his binder partially away and then tends to strengthen Cracking. After burning off the ECB or FPO compound, the glass fleece breaks in sections the fire hits through to the roof substructure and this starts to burn. To avoid This inadequate fire properties are used when standing the technology among other composite carrier of a glass fleece and a glass grid. These are much more expensive to produce and therefore, in today's struggle for low material costs often no solution dar. According to the prior art, one has additionally glass fleeces laid loosely under the waterproofing membrane to allow it in the roof structure to obtain the required fire properties. This measure also means higher Material and installation costs.

Bituminous roofing membranes belong with inserts made of glass fleece to the state of the art. It happens that these in their manufacture tear off from one edge. In such a tearing is the production stopped and the cracks are done by hand and with Inappropriately high time expenditure closed. To avoid one such tearing used with glass fiber threads increased Glass mats.

Of the Invention is the formation of a plastic roof waterproofing membrane at the bottom, without noticeable increase their material and manufacturing costs required by DIN Has fire properties. The solution to this task emerges in surprising easy way by using a glass fleece carrier with longitudinal running Glasseidenfäden. Such a glass fleece carrier with the longitudinal direction running Glasseidenfäden resists the fire load required by DIN. Glass fleece carrier with longitudinal running Glasseidenfäden have been a commercial product for decades and are, like stated above, in the production bituminous Used roofing membranes. Despite the well-known search for years a roof waterproofing membrane of the type mentioned with sufficient Brand properties, but nobody has ever thought their glass fleece carrier with longitudinal threads off Equip glass fiber. Only the inventors have overcome the obviously existing prejudice and the simple invention and cost-effective solution found.

The roofing membrane according to the invention brings another advantage. Subject to the so-called Halterausriß they far less than the known glass fleece reinforced roof waterproofing membranes. For mechanical fixation, these tracks with screws and under their heads attached washers attached to the roof base. With a strong Windswept load causes these to consist of screw and washer Holder tear the web. One speaks of Halterausriß. The web of the invention holds against strong winds due to wind suction.

In sees an expedient embodiment the invention that the Longitudinal threads are the same distance have from each other. In a further embodiment it is provided that the Longitudinal threads different Distance from each other. Suitably, the glass fabric has a Grammage of 25-150 gsm, preferably from 50-80 g / sqm on.

At the An example of the embodiment shown in the drawing becomes the invention now described further.
