Abstract

Bei einer Vorrichtung (1) zum Behandeln einer Materialbahn (2) mit einer Einrichtung (4) zum Aufblasen von Dampf auf die Materialbahn (2), wobei die Dampfaufblaseinrichtung (4) zumindest eine zu der Materialbahn (2) weisende Oberfläche (41) aufweist, sind Stauraumbegrenzungselemente (10, 11) zur endseitigen Begrenzung eines Stauraums (12) für das Aufstauen von Dampf zwischen der Dampfaufblaseinrichtung (4) und der Materialbahn (2) vorgesehen, wobei die Stauraumbegrenzungselemente (10, 11) so weit über die zu der Materialbahn weisende Oberfläche (41) der Dampfaufblaseinrichtung (4) vorragen, dass die Stauraumbegrenzungselemente (10, 11) in Berührung mit der Materialbahn (2) stehen.
