Fitting for tubular lamps, especially fluorescent tubes,
for use in explosion-endangered There are sockets for tubular lamps,
became known in particular for fluorescent tubes with electrode connections at both ends,
that formed by independent socket parts that can be placed separately on the tube end
Intermediate pieces are marked with in particular plug-type contacts that
when placing the intermediate piece on the socket body on them corresponding,
in the socket body, preferably arranged in a closed switching chamber, plug-in
or make pressure contacts and thereby close the circuit for the fluorescent tube.
This design of the socket provides an effective seal in a simple manner
against dust and moisture and the use of such tubes in explosive
or rooms at risk of firedamp, since practically the most common
namely z. B. When replacing the tube, the spark drawn is not in a free atmosphere,
but in a closed switching chamber housed in the fixed socket body
occurs. However, especially in the case of fluorescent tubes, different
Parts of the necessary switching accessories, e.g. B. at the choke or the transformer,
For example, in the event of an unintentional live test, sparks can be generated which in
can cause considerable damage to rooms at risk of explosion or firedamp.
To avoid this, a redesign of one of the known, e.g. B. against
the ingress of dust or moisture as a sealed hollow body
Fittings from tubular lamps to explosion and firedamp proof
Valve can be tried. However, this attempt involves a very important complication
the valve structure and an unjustifiable construction effort.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a fitting for tubular
Design lamps explosion and firedamp proof, which also meet high requirements
with regard to safety in rooms at risk of explosion and firedamp in simpler
Way with a minimum of constructive means and moreover at the same time
Any free arrangement of the tubes (open distribution or with reflectors
provided) allowed. This goal is achieved in a fitting for tubular lamps,
on their ends as independent socket parts with in particular plug-type contacts
trained intermediate pieces are placed, achieved according to the invention,
that instead of the two fixed socket bodies required for a lamp, a single one,
watertight and explosion-proof or firedamp-proof closed hollow body used
inside it is closed switching chambers arranged at the correct distance
with mating contacts for the contacts of the spacers that can be placed on the tube ends
the socket and all switching accessories of the tube (s) are housed.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the safety in explosive
or rooms at risk of firedamp can be further increased by at least
part of the switching accessories, in particular reactors and transformers, inside
of the hollow body additionally in a tightly sealed, preferably with one
spark-extinguishing agents, e.g. B. sand, filled chamber is housed so that
each part on which sparking may occur separately
is designed to be explosion and firedamp proof. In an advantageous embodiment
According to the invention, the hollow body consists of a tube with watertight at both ends
and explosion-proof caps that are self-sealed. The fitting
according to the invention is also as a free radiating lighting fixture
Can also be used with a reflector for direct lighting. Through the caps
is the interior of the hollow body and thus the switching accessories of the tube, which is preferably
with complete wiring mounted in a known manner on a slide as
fully assembled piece can be pushed into or pulled out of the hollow body
can, at any time easily, e.g. B. for a review or an exchange of individual
Switching elements, accessible. The hollow body accommodating the switching accessories does not have to be
necessarily tubular
can be trained with equal success
he can have any shape, e.g. B. he can also use his fluorescent tubes
facing side be designed as a reflector itself or wear reflectors.
As an embodiment of a valve according to the invention shows
