Abstract

The seal for a plug and socket connection between two concrete pipes comprises a sealing ring (1). This is fitted with a solid or hollow rolling ring (3) which assists fitting, but is torn off when the pipes are connected.

Description

The invention relates to a sealing arrangement, comprising at least:

• - Two abutting components, which mostly consist of concrete, and one Seal made of elastomeric material, the gap between the two Bridging components sealingly, whereby
• - Especially in the context of the sealing of pipes or shaft structures two abutting components, a sleeve end on the one hand and a On the other hand are spiked, with a sealing ring sealing the sleeve gap bridged.

A generic sealing arrangement is known in various modifications, the sealing of pipes or shaft structures of particular importance (DE-C-35 07 909, EP-B-0 449 082).

As part of a further development, the task is to put it together of components from the point of view of an effective sliding effect of the seal improve.

This object is now achieved in accordance with the characterizing part of patent claim 1 in that the contact surface of the seal or sealing ring is equipped with at least one molded-on rolling body which is used when joining the abutting components

• - is torn off, combined with a sliding rolling effect, or
• - bursts, whereby a lubricant is released.

Appropriate embodiments of the sealing arrangement according to the invention are shown in the Claims 2 to 7 called.

The invention will now be described using exemplary embodiments with reference to schematic drawings explained. Show it:

According to FIGS. 1 to 3, the sealing rings 1, 1 'or 1 "respectively equipped with a roll ring 3, which is injection-molded at the lowest point of the run-on slope. 5 When assembling of the components of the rolling ring is torn off, connected with a sliding rolling action in the direction of the arrow.

According to FIG. 4 to 6, the sealing rings 2, 2 'and 2 are "each provided with a roller tube 4, which is injection-molded also at the lowest point of the run-on slope. 5 When assembling of the components of the roll tube is torn off, connected with a sliding rolling action in the arrow direction. Alternatively, the roller tube 5 may be filled with a lubricant which exerts its lubricating effect when bursting of the roll hose 4.

The sealing rings are often anchored by means of grooves 6 ( Fig. 1, 4) or at least one anchoring foot 7 ( Fig. 2, 3, 5, 6) in one of the abutting components made of concrete, for example in the socket base of the socket.

The sealing rings 1 "( FIG. 3) and 2 " ( FIG. 6) are additionally provided with elongated holes 8 .

Claims (7)

1. Sealing arrangement, comprising at least:
two abutting components, which mostly consist of concrete, as well as a seal made of elastomeric material, which seals the gap between the two components,
in particular in the context of the sealing of pipes or manhole structures, the two abutting components are a socket end on the one hand and a spigot end on the other,
a sealing ring ( 1 , 1 ', 1 "; 2 , 2 ', 2 ") sealingly bridges the sleeve gap,
characterized in that the contact surface of the seal or sealing ring ( 1 , 1 ', 1 "; 2 , 2 ', 2 ") is equipped with at least one molded rolling body, which is torn off when the abutting components are joined together, combined with a sliding rolling action , or bursts, releasing a lubricant. 2. Sealing arrangement according to claim 1, characterized in that the rolling body is a rolling ring ( 3 ). 3. Sealing arrangement according to claim 1, characterized in that the rolling body is a roller tube ( 4 ). 4. Sealing arrangement according to claim 3, characterized in that the roller tube ( 4 ) is filled with a lubricant which develops its sliding effect when the roller tube bursts. 5. Sealing arrangement according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the seal or the sealing ring ( 1 , 1 ', 1 "; 2 , 2 ', 2 ") has a run-up slope ( 5 ). 6. Sealing arrangement according to claim 5, characterized in that the rolling body is injection molded in the area of the run-up slope ( 5 ). 7. Sealing arrangement according to claim 6, characterized in that the rolling body is arranged within the lowest point of the ramp ( 5 ).
