Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anordnung für eine Zündkerze mit integrierter Laserzündung zum Zünden des in den Brennraum einer Brennkraftmaschine in Form einer äußeren oder inneren Gemischbildung eingebrachten bzw. eingespritzten Kraftstoffs nach der im Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 angegebenen Art. Der optische Leiter (3) kann an der Laseraustrittsstelle (16) optisch so ausgearbeitet sein, dass eine Fokussierung des Lasers (1) im Zündpunkt (17) erfolgt. Weiter kann in diesem Bereich auch ein unverlierbares, endständiges und optisch fokussierendes Element integriert sein, welches im Zündpunkt (17) die notwendige Zündenergie zur Verfügung stellt. Die Einkopplung des Lasers (1) erfolgt über das Kopplungselement (20), wobei das Zündkerzenkabel (21) hierzu den axial geführten, optischen Leiter (22) aufweist. Die elektrische Verbindung wird standardmäßig durch den elektrischen Hohlleiter (23) sichergestellt. Durch diese Anordnung kann eine Standard-Zündkerze mit relativ geringem Aufwand so optimiert werden, dass sie modernen Anforderungen zur Zündung von Brennstoffgemischen, insbesondere auch bei Schichtladungen über einen weiten Drehzahlbereich, mittels innerer aber auch äußerer Gemischbildung und mit Mehrfachzündung bei gleichzeitig optimaler Brennraumgeometrie geeignet ist.
