Description
The cleaning of rigid material, in particular made of metal, is carried out with the exception of an aqueous solution especially with volatile, organic solvents, especially with chlorinated hydrocarbons such as trichlorethylene, Perchlorethylene and the like. Open or closed devices are used for this in technology used, in which different demands are made, namely high performance on purified Objects, simple operation and, above all, low solvent losses. These conditions are largely fulfilled by the invention described below.
The method according to the invention for cleaning rigid material, preferably made of metal, by means of liquid, volatile, organic solvent, mainly Chlorinated hydrocarbons, such as trichlorethylene or perchlorethylene, in several steps, e.g. B. Loading with cleaning items and emptying, Filling with solvents, drying, etc., consists essentially in the fact that the operations are regulated in several movable treatment tanks in sequence by a control unit, which is actuated by rotating the treatment tank, which is moved horizontally in a circle. It will the cleaning liquid in a known manner into the treatment container from a arranged underneath Reservoir promoted by the pressure of solvent vapor. The displaced when filling the treatment tank with the cleaning liquid from them Air and the air used to dry the solvent-dampened items to be cleaned is used for Purpose of recovery of the solvent passed through a cooler to the outside.
The operation of the device is very simplified because of the method according to the invention they only ensure that the cleaning container is filled and emptied with the items to be cleaned which takes place in the same place, so that the worker does not have to leave their place. The remaining Operations such as pre-cleaning with an impure solvent, post-cleaning with a pure solvent and drying of the items to be cleaned are carried out completely automatically, simply by turning the star-shaped arranged treatment tank, whereby "the movement of the cleaning agent, the action the drying air, etc. is controlled.
Durch Drehen der Scheibe gelangt jeder Behandlungsbehälter der Reihe nach in die mit I, II und III be-Verfahren und VorrichtungTo carry out the process, use is made of a device, one embodiment of which is in the is described below. zeichneten Arbeitsstellungen. For each treatment container, two openings are provided in the rotatable disk, which are connected to the treatment containers. The lines 3 a, 4 α and 5 α are intended for liquid, the lines 3b, 4b and Sb for gases. The openings in the disk 2 correspond to the same ones in the lower disk 1, so that when the disk 2 is rotated through 120 °, the openings in the disk 2 are connected to those in disk 1.
The disk 1 has the following connecting lines: In working position I, the line 5 d leads to the open air, and the line 5 c leads to the cooler 9, which opens into a suction fan 8. In working position II, a line 3c goes to the solvent reservoir 6, which already contains some dirty solvent. The line 10 establishes the connection with the cooler 11, with the three-way valve 12 and via the line 17 with the steam generator 13.
Auch in Arbeitsstellung III besteht eine Verbindung mit Leiung 10, ferner taucht die Leitung 4 cIn working position III there is also a connection with line 10, and line 4 c also emerges
From the gas space of the solvent storage tank 6 and 7, a line 16 leads to the three-way valve 12, and there is also the storage container 6 through line 15 to the lower part of the solvent vapor generator 13 and the container 7 over Line 18 is connected to the cooler 11.
Der Dreiweghahn 12 wird so gestellt, daß der Gasraum des Lösemittelverdampfers 13In working position I, the cleaning container 5 is filled with cleaning material and then closed. By Turning by 120 ° the cleaning container reaches working position II. The three-way valve 12 is set so that that the gas space of the solvent evaporator 13

.. .......is connected to the gas space of the storage container 6 and 7 via the lines 14 and 16. As a result, the solvent is pressed out of the container 6 through the line 3 c and 3 α into the treatment container 3. After completion of the cleaning process, a connection between the line 16 and the cooler 11 is established by "turning the three-way tap 12. As a result, the solvent vapor flows out of the containers 6 and: 7 into : the cooler 11," where it is precipitated. The condensate flows back through the line 18 into the storage container 7. As a result of the release of the pressure, the cleaning liquid - can flow back out of the cleaning container 3 iff the storage container 6 ... .......
The same process also takes place in working position III, in which the cleaning container 4 is first fed with pure solvent from the container 7 through the lines 4 c and 4 α and then emptied again. The container 7 contains pure solvent, since the condensate from the coolers 11 and 9 flows into it via the lines 19 and 18. After rotating the cleaning container through 120 ° in working position I, the cleaning container is connected to the open air by lines 5 d and 5 b , and to the cooler 9 and suction fan 8 by lines 5 α and 5 c. The extracted solvent vapor is precipitated in the cooler 9. The condensate runs back into the storage container 7 via lines 19 and 18. The cleaning container 5 is then opened and the items to be cleaned are removed. It is then filled again with cleaning material, closed and brought into the working positions II, III and then back to I by turning it through 120 °.
The overflow from the container 6 is through the line 15 that collects in the line 10 Solvent fed through line 17 to evaporator 13.
