Description
Fixed ventilation attachment open at the top The invention relates to a ventilation attachment, from the outer surface of which air ducting lines extend upward into the interior for tensile reinforcement in the exhaust air shaft. Known venting attachments of this type have air ducts whose mouths lying in one plane have mutual lidhte distances, so that to avoid penetration of rain od in the shaft. In a known embodiment, four such air ducts are evenly distributed over the circumference of the vent attachment. Furthermore, it is known to arrange a cover within a venting attachment that is larger than the cross section of the exhaust air shaft and which absorbs any moisture that may fall. From this the accumulating water should be drained to the outside. For this purpose, a relatively engc -.- is used; Tube that is connected in the area of the tip of a cone that forms the corner and is open at the top. Such a pipe is hardly able to divert the amount of water that occurs, for example, during torrential rain and is easily clogged or iced up. Thus, another loading known embodiment arranges the cover to a plurality of channels through which the accumulating liquid is to flow out. These designs are also not usable without reservation, since the pipe or the channels may only have small cross sections in order not to restrict the cross section available to the outflowing air or the like in an impermissibly strong manner. Another known cover for a chimney provides a plurality of rows that are staggered in height and side and open on the top. lying parallel to each other. enforce the interior of the chimney at an angle and reach through openings in a single wall of the attachment with their lower ends. These channels complement each other with regard to their vertical projection surfaces to form a cover that is intended to exclude the penetration of light into the chimney. This arrangement causes considerable deflections of the outflowing air and therefore causes high flow resistance. The subdivision of the cover into several independent areas also has the disadvantage that the desired effect does not occur reliably, since the channels the exiting air flow multiple times. deflect sideways so that water droplets are deflected sideways and can get into the chimney. In none of the previously known attachments without a hood, there is a noticeable increase in tension in the exhaust air shaft due to the water drainage elements.
The invention is based on the object. To create a fixed ventilation attachment, open on the top, of the type described above, which uses natural or natural air currents with good efficiency to generate suction in the exhaust air shaft and reliably protects the shaft against the ingress of moisture. According to the invention, this is essentially achieved in that the mouths of the air ducts are connected to form a cover that extends over the cross section of the ventilation shaft. In this way, a perfectly effective cover is created with regard to rain security, the falling moisture being reliably drained off even under unfavorable circumstances, since the air ducting lines naturally have large cross-sections. On the other hand, the reduction in the cross section available for the exhaust air flow caused by the X-coverage cannot express any harmful effects, since the upwardly directed air ducts as a result of the injector effect increase the suction effect, so that a greater one Flow resistance at least, c-st balanced wi.rd.
The mouths of the air ducts can preferably be in a before the cover plate. This then requires upwardly directed edge parts in order to to supply the resulting moisture to the air ducts. Fs is also possible, the cover directly through the directly connected to each other to form mouth-side ends of the air duct. In doing so, the air ducting feit (ungen have over their length increasing or decreasing cross section to each other on the mouth side to receive complementary forms.
Independent of the direction of the prevailing air flow to become it is necessary at least three evenly Arrange air ducts distributed around the circumference of the vent attachment. With a clearly fixed direction of the external air flow creating the suction effect however, it is sufficient only on the side of the vent attachment exposed to the flow To attach air ducts.
With the new ventilation attachment: the suction effect is not only effective generates the air flow sweeping over its mouth, but mainly from the Currents through the upward sloping air ducts, which are rectilinear or can also be curved, reinforced. In order to largely increase this effect., it may be advisable to provide guide plates on the upper surface of the cover, the upward airflow caused by the air ducts further upright so that it leaves the attachment approximately parallel to its longitudinal axis.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment. 1 shows a partially sectioned side view, FIG. 2 shows a top view of a ventilation attachment, FIG. 3 shows a ventilation attachment for an arrangement in which the external air flow always impinges from the same side in a representation similar to FIG. 2.
The cylindrical exhaust air duct 1 connected to the suction line of a room to be ventilated is surrounded below its mouth level 2 by a collar-like ring 3 which has individual openings 4. On the outside, the ring 3 carries the jacket 5 of the venting attachment, which essentially has a dgppelke, -elst, urnpffö.r, mi, -e shape. Lower from the peripheral surface, this casing part from lead air guide pipes 6 with circular cross-section obliquely upwards to a cover which "the shape of a -., R planar with upwardly directed edges 7 verseh2nen plate 8 has in the illustrated in FIGS 1 and 2 example. four sc> Icher air ducts 6 are distributed around the circumference of the ventilation attachment.
The rain or the like entering the attachment is mainly caught by the cover 7, 8 and can flow away through the air ducts 6 . Moisture falling at an angle, which is not detected by the cover, jacket 7, 8 , hits the inner walls of the jacket 5, runs off them and collects in the ring 3 through the protruding mouth edge of the exhaust duct 1 and the lower part of the shell 5 given channel and flows through the recess 4 provided in this. So there is complete security against the ingress of moisture.
In Fig. 3 , the same reference numerals are chosen for the parts of the ventilation attachment. In this embodiment only two ventilation ducts 6 are provided, which are distributed unevenly over the circumference of the ventilation attachment and essentially point in a direction which is indicated in FIG. 3 by the arrow 9, which indicates the wind direction. Such attachments naturally only work with a good degree of efficiency when the external air flow actually runs in the direction 9. Venting attachments of this type are preferably used for fast vehicles in which the air flow is provided by the Fahrtwindi, under certain circumstances also for stationary systems in which a predominantly constant wind direction can be assumed.
To be as strong as possible, roughly parallel to the longitudinal axis of the attachment - To obtain an established air flow, the air guide lines could be used on the inlet side be extended.
The cover 7, 8 can have the shape of a truncated cone of greater height. Cover into such a waste air duct lines can then open out completely or partially in the region of the lateral surface. 6 In the interior of such a cover, guide plates for further erecting the air flow entering through the air guide lines 6 can then easily be anoTdinen.
