Description
Claims (9)
wobei die Servermodule (2, 3, 4, 5) jeweils
mindestens eine Datenverarbeitungseinheit (17) zur Da tenverarbeitung von den Datenpaketen;
mindestens eine adressierbare Kommunikationsschnittstel le (19) zum Anschluß an ein externes Netzwerk (13; 16), über das die Datenpakete übertragbar sind;
eine Schaltschnittstelle (20) zum Anschluß an die Schalteinrichtung (7); und
eine Routing-Berechnungseinheit (18) zum Prüfen, ob ein ankommendes Datenpaket ein Servermodul (2, 3, 4, 5) des Servers (1) adressiert, und zur Festlegung einer Server modul-Adresse eines Servermoduls (2, 3, 4, 5) des Ser vers (1) mittels einer Routing-Tabelle in Abhängigkeit von der Auslastung der Datenverarbeitungseinheiten aller Servermodule, an das das Datenpaket zu senden ist,
aufweisen.
