Abstract
The detoxifying agent with universal action against chemical warfare agents is suitable for the detoxification of military and civilian technical means, of buildings and Straszen as well as of laboratory Gefaeszen. It is a universally applicable non-aqueous detoxification fluid of high reactivity, consisting of available or technically easily accessible starting materials. By reducing the amine content and substituting it with more suitable compounds, the alkali alkoxide content could be increased up to 2.6 moles of 1. It has been found that a solution of * mole 1 sodium in 10-60 * aminoalcohol (dimethylaminoethanol), 0-20 * alcohol and 20-80 * alkylcaprolactam detoxify Yperit, sarin and VX chemical warfare agents. To the proposed detoxification agent can be added up to 25 * gasoline or cyclohexane as co-solvent.
Description
The invention relates to novel liquid detackifiers with universal action against chemical warfare agents from military and civilian technical means, such as armored and unarmored vehicles, aircraft, ships and rail vehicles; on facilities such as buildings, roads, runways and on or in laboratory vessels, as well as against analogous toxic compounds.
It is known that (1) sodium hydroxide solutions of 2-methoxyethanol mixed with various amines (JBJACKSON, US Pat. No. 3,079,346 issued 04.05.1960) and that sodium solutions of ethanol in a mixture of propylenediamine and dimethylaminoethanol (J. E. BUSCH and A. MATTHES, GP GDR 130076 of 30.05.1969) type of chemical warfare agents, sarin and V-agent better detoxify than heretofore known aqueous detoxification fluids.
As amines in addition to the propylenediamine especially ethylenediamine and diethylenetriamine use.
DDR 209399 vom 14.08.1979) vorgeschlagen.Further be as non-aqueous liquids detoxification (3) solutions from 0.5 to 1 mole of lithium hydroxide or lithium Γ 1 in mixtures of 50 to 75% monoethanolamine, and 26 to 50% hexylene glycol (BCWOLVERTON, US Pat. 3,634,278. From 11/01/1972) , (4) solutions of 0.05 to 5 moles Γ 1 of a strong base, such as alkali metal hydroxides, Alkalialkoxido, alkali metal phenoxides and quaternary ammonium hydroxides, and mixtures of 30 to 100 parts of dimethyl sulfoxide and 0 to 70 parts of alcohol, glycols and triols (PRSTEYERMARK, US Pat. No. 3,810,842 issued May 14, 1974) and (5) solutions of salicylaldoxime in ethanol with an addition of ethanolamine or sodium ethoxide having a pH of 10 to 12 (GP GDR 209399 of August 14, 1979).
The variants (1), (2), (3) and partly probably also (4) and (5) act due to their Alkalialkoxidgehaltes, but one mole Γ 1 in these compositions can not exceed and therefore limits their effectiveness. To stabilize the alcoholates also costly measures are required. In addition, the previously proposed or used detoxification from either expensive or difficult to obtain or complicated to produce starting compounds.
Ziel der ErfindungObject of the invention
The aim of the invention are universally applicable, nlchtwäßrige detoxification liquids high reactivity for the detoxification of chemical warfare agents or analogous toxic compounds from available or technically readily available starting materials.
The object of the invention is to find a composition in which by reducing the amine content and substitution by suitable compounds, the alkali oxide content can be increased.
It has been found that a solution of at least 0.5 mole I ' 1 up to 2.6 mol Γ 1 metallic sodium in 10 to 60Vol .-% amino alcohol, preferably dimethylaminoethanol, 0 to 20Vol .-% alcohol, eg. As methanol, ethanol or propanol and 20-80Vol .-% alkylcaprolactam, preferably N-methyl-c-caprolactam chemical warfare agents such. B. detoxify Yperit, sarin and V-agent within 5 minutes so that the residual concentrations or the residual poisoning densities only Ve correspond to 1 A of the required Normative.
At the same time, it has been found that methanol and benzene or cyclohexane as co-solvent can be added to such mixtures up to 25%, without these mixtures lose their detoxifying activity. For this reason, the detoxifying agents can also be prepared as concentrates, which can be diluted only immediately before use. The mixture according to the invention can be prepared with a content of metallic sodium up to 2.6 mol. This allows new optimizations for the manufacture, storage and use of such mixtures.
