Description

Charakteristik der bekannten technischen LösungenCharacteristic of the known technical solutions

A hallmark of the metal-plastic composite is its bond strength. He must withstand permanently pressure-safe and changing temperature loads.

An essential prerequisite for an optimal bond is the highest possible utilization of the retentive sites present on the metal surface. As is known, the latter is closely linked to the problem of wettability of the metal surface by the adhesive or adhesion promoter. The wettability is in turn dependent on the surface energy differences but also on the surface roughness. With conventional methods of applying adhesion promoters on metal surfaces, such as brushes, dipping or spraying, optimal surface utilization is not possible.

The process to be presented offers over the method described in the PS 2737792 the advantage that it is not plastic compounds (plastics, polymers, polymer monomer mixtures) under these conditions vaporizable compounds, d. H. Compounds with a vapor pressure in the order of the applied pressure, is.

Ziel der ErfindungObject of the invention

The aim of the invention is to achieve a secure bond and a high shear strength.

Darlegung des Wesens der ErfindungExplanation of the essence of the invention

The object of the invention is to develop a simple process which guarantees high wetting (almost complete) of treated metal surfaces with known adhesion promoters and thus guarantees a firm bond to other plastic compounds (plastics, polymer-monomer mixtures ") to be applied the object is achieved in that the metal alloy surface is roughened by blasting with corundum, chemical and / or electrochemical corrosion or other known pretreatment and then coated under vacuum conditions of 10 ~ 3 to 100Pa with known adhesion promoters.

The thus-coated metal alloys should preferably "5pm having 25 pm in width and up to 50 pm deep. The viscosity of the adhesion promoter should be between 1O -3 and 1 Pas, preferably between 5 · 10" microretentions between 5pm to be 2 and 5 × 10 -1 Pas , The coating is preferably at room temperature, but it is also possible to increase the temperature to 80 0 C.

Adhesion promoters include all polymers and monomers which do not evaporate under the conditions according to the invention, for example methyl methacrylate, polymethyl acrylate, polyurethanes, polyesters and mixtures thereof. As metal alloys base metal and precious metal alloys are used, including nickel-based alloys and cobalt-based alloys. The inventive method is carried out such that the metal alloy is in a closed, transparent container to which a pump is connected. The container with the sample is evacuated by applying 10 -3 to 100 Pa, preferably 1-80 Pa. Subsequently, the adhesion promoter is applied either by dripping or by brushing under vacuum. The time of the evacuation should last at least 5 minutes after reaching the pressure value, at least until the desired pressure is reached. After coating, the sample chamber is re-aerated. It has surprisingly been found that an increase in shear strength of 12 MPa under normal conditions and 21 MPa under reduced pressure conditions is achieved with methyl methacrylate as adhesion promoter between a nickel-based alloy and Kallocryl A (PMMA-Plast).

Then they were brushed in vacuum at 160 Torr with methyl methacrylate 2mal. Thereafter, the pressure equalization was immediately established. A commercially available veneering resin, Superbont C + B, was then applied to the pretreated surface in accordance with the processing instructions.

A comparison of the with the help of the compression strength test according to H.
