Abstract
The invention relates to a process for the flotation of anhydrite / gypsum, in particular from aggregates with quartz, calcite, fluorite and barite as accompanying minerals. In the invention, the separation of the anhydrite / gypsum from the minor components takes place. The object is achieved in accordance with the invention by using N-alkanoyl or N-alkenoylaminocarboxylic acids or N-alkanoyl or N-alkenoyl-N-alkylaminocarboxylic acids or salts thereof as a collector in combination with regulating reagents.
Description
It is essential to the invention that the collectors are used as aqueous emulsion or in the form of their soluble salts as only one compound of the type N-alkanoyl or N-alkenoylaminocarboxylic acid or N-alkanoyl or N-alkenoyl-N-alkylaminocarboxylic acids or as a combination of several of these compounds become.
Furthermore, it is essential to the invention that pushers are used as regulating reagents.
The flotation succeeds over a large pH range and is preferably carried out in the alkaline region.
In flotation, the collector according to the invention makes it possible to directly dispense quartz-poor anhydrite / gypsum concentrates, while the accompanying minerals are not co-flotated by the use of pushers but remain in the mountains.
The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to an embodiment.

When recovering the intermediate residues (mountains B1, B2, B3) into the corresponding flotation stages, higher yield values are to be expected.
