Means for controlling bacterial diseases in the plant stock are hardly available on an international scale. Bactericides, which allow a rapid containment of diseases in the orchards, act specifically and in their application no toxicological concerns exist, so far lack on a global scale.
Bacteria, which can often spread epidemically in the population or territory through insects, rain splashes, birds or treatment measures, are today among the most dangerous fruit diseases. While for combating bacterial rot in the storage of potatoes and cabbage species as bactericides chloramphenicol (DDR-WP 78423 and DDR-WP 84958 as a supplementary patent, DDR-WP 107204 and DDR-WP 110423 as a supplementary patent) or Bronopol (DDR-WP 133885) for use reached, found these substances for toxicological reasons or insufficient efficacy in fruit production is not widespread.
Aufgrund der unzureichenden Wirkung fand Bronopol in der Folgezeit (CROSSE, J. E.: „Prospects for the use of bactericides for the control of bacterial disease."It is known that 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol (Bronopol) has been proposed for controlling Erwinia amylovora on apples and pears and Xanthomonas malvacearum on cotton (British Patent 1193954). Bronopol was subsequently found to have insufficient effect (CROSSE, J.E .: "Prospects for the use of bactericides for the control of bacterial disease."

Diss., AdL 1976).6. Brit. Insect. & Fungicid.Conf. 1971 in Brighton, Proceedings 1971, 694 ... 705; BAUM, LH: "Report on the Third International Firebrand Meeting in Bordeaux from 12 to 16 September 1983, Mitt. Diss., AdL 1976).
The first starting points for a targeted fight against fire blight resulted from the use of the quaternary ammonium compound benzalkonium chloride, which is suitable for flower killing in Crategus and other ornamental shrubs or for Sekundärblütenabtötung in fruit production (DDR-WP 269902) and thus excludes the most important possibility of infection for fire blight. When using benzalkonium chloride, however, it is not possible to maintain the functionality of the flowers and / or kill bacterial pathogens in the wood.
The invention aims to prevent or combat bacterial diseases of fruit and ornamental shrubs and crops during the growing season and their spread by flower infection or care measures. At the same time it is intended to combine the bactericidal effect with a fungicidal and thereby expand the application possibilities. The funds should be sufficiently plant compatible and still allow a fight against bacteria in the affected woody plants.

Überraschenderweise wurde gefunden, daß Kombinationen oder Tankmischungen von Nitroalkanolen der allgemeinen Formel I mit Alkylmorpholinen hinsichtlich der bakteriziden Wirkung synergistische Effekte ergeben.are, with fungicides from the group alkylmorpholines, which are used to combat powdery mildew fungi (DDR-WP 140412) are used, complement each other not only in their spectrum of activity. Surprisingly, it has been found that combinations or tank mixtures of nitroalkanols of the general formula I with alkylmorpholines give synergistic effects with regard to the bactericidal action.
The active compound combinations according to the invention offer over the known from the prior art single active ingredients the advantage that the otherwise difficult to control bacterial diseases of fruit trees can be combated without the crops such. Apples are damaged. This makes it possible to fight also the pathogen in the orchard. The active compound combinations or tank mixtures according to the invention thus represent a valuable enrichment of the art.
The application of the active compound combinations is expediently carried out in the preparation or application forms customary for fungicides or bactericides, ie solutions, emulsions, suspensions or else concentrates which, with the addition of liquid and / or solid carriers or diluents with the addition of surface-active substances and others Formulation aids can be prepared and diluted with water for use. The application form depends on the intended use, but in any case it has to ensure a fine distribution of the substances.
The preparation is carried out in a conventional manner by mixing, milling or solution process.
A convenient application is also the tank mix. Here, the formulated to preparations with different active ingredient content individual components are combined shortly before their application in the container of the application device or diluted together with the required amount of water. In addition, a common application of the combination or tank mixture according to the invention with other agrochemicals is possible.
