Abstract
Φυτά καλλιεργούνται σε ένα μηχάνημα καλλιέργειας αναπτύσσοντας ένα πλήθος φυτικών βάσεων πάνω σε έναν ατέρμονα μεταφορέα κατά μήκος μιας διαδρομής καλλιέργειας, με τουλάχιστον ένα τμήμα της διαδρομής να είναι μια κυματοειδής διαδρομή που έχει εναλλασσόμενα ανοδικά και καθοδικά τμήματα και ένα τμήμα επιστροφής για την επαναφορά στο κυματοειδές τμήμα. Χρησιμοποιώντας ένα ζεύγος παράλληλων ατέρμονων μεταφορέων, οι βάσεις στηρίζονται μεταξύ των μεταφορέων με δυνατότητα απομάκρυνσης.
