Abstract

Μια μέθοδος εκκόλαψης προνυμφών Artemia ξεκινώντας από μια ποσότητα κύστεων συμπεριλαμβανομένων κύστεων σε διάπαυση, δια επώασης των κύστεων εντός ενός μέσου εκκόλαψης υπό συνθήκας που επιτρέπουν τουλάχιστον ένα μέρος των κύστεων να εκκολάπτεται και να απελευθερώνει προνύμφες που κολυμπούν ελεύθερα εντός μιας προκαθορισμένης περιόδου επώασης, κατά την οποία μέθοδο οι κύστεις φέρονται σε επαφή με μια ένωση, που περιέχει τουλάχιστον μια δομή -C(OH)=C(OH)- για να διακόψουν την διάπαυση σε ένα τουλάχιστον αριθμό από τις αναφερθείσες κύστεις σε διάπαυση, ούτως ώστε να καταστεί δυνατόν εις αυτές να παράγουν προνύμφες που κολυμπούν ελεύθερα, εντός της εν λόγω προκαθορισμένης περιόδου επώασης αυξάνοντας τοιουτοτρόπως την εκατοστιαία αναλογία εκκόλαψης των επωασθεισών κύστεων από Χ% του συνολικού αριθμού πλήρων κύστεων, όταν οι κύστεις δεν φέρονται σε επαφή με την αναφερθείσα ένωση, σε μια εκατοστιαία αναλογία εκκόλαψης μεγαλύτερη από Χ%, όταν αυτές φέρονται σε επαφή με την αναφερθείσα ένωση.
