Abstract
Παρουσιάζεται τεμάχιο ηλιακού συλλέκτη για θέρμανση αέρα, στο οποίο το συμβατικό μονωτικό υλικό στο πίσω τμήμα του που βλέπει από την απέναντι πλευρά από τον ήλιο αντικαθίσταται από χώρο μεταξύ ενός διαπερατού οπίσθιου τμήματος και διαπερατών μέσων απορρόφησης θερμότητας έτσι ώστε μια ροή αέρα μεταφοράς θερμότητας διαμέσου του οπίσθιου τμήματος και μέσα στο εσωτερικό του τεμαχίου ηλιακής ενέργειας αντίθετα από τη βαθμιαία πτώση της θερμοκρασίας να παρεμποδίζει την απώλεια θερμότητας λόγω μεταφοράς στην αντίθετη κατεύθυνση. Το οπίσθιο τμήμα μειώνει επίσης την απώλεια θερμότητας λόγω ακτινοβολίας από τα μέσα απορρόφησης θερμότητας. Επιπροσθέτως, στην περίπτωση που η ροή αέρα διαμέσου του τεμαχίου ηλιακού συλλέκτη σταματήσει, η μεταφορά-μόνωση δεν θα είναι πλέον αποτελεσματική και ένα τεμάχιο φωτοβολταϊκών κυψελίδων που τοποθετείται εντός του τεμαχίου ηλιακού συλλέκτη και παράγει ηλεκτρική ενέργεια από την ηλιακή ακτινοβολία δεν θα υπόκειται στην επιζήμια υψηλή θερμοκρασία αδράνειας ενός παραδοσιακά μονωμένου τεμαχίου ηλιακού συλλέκτη.
