Abstract
La invención está relacionada con un horno para fundición de vidrio que comprende secciones de fundición fabricadas enteramente de hormigón refractario consistente de varios materiales refractarios de acuerdo a las condiciones de operación, medio químico, temperatura y tensión mecánica a los cuales cada una de las diferentes secciones está expuesta, así como al espesor de los materiales y que es requerido para asegurar la integridad estructural y una durabilidad comparable a la de los hornos convencionales, a menor costo.
