Abstract
<p>La presente invención se relaciona con composiciones que comprenden un polipéptido aglicosilado que tiene actividad de celobiasa y a métodos para la producción y uso de las mismas. La presente invención se basa, al menos en parte, en el descubrimiento sorprendente de que una celobiasa de Trichoderma reesei que fue expresada en una línea celular no fúngica y aislada a partir de una célula huésped que no glicosila significativamente la enzima, tuvo actividad específica más alta en sustrato puro que la celobiasa endógena (glicosilada y secretada) de T. reesei.</p>
