Abstract
In the process, the solid material is washed in a washing process with an aqueous rinsing fluid whereby the oil is emulsified in the rinsing fluid and the latter is then separated from the solid. To increase the effectiveness and reduce the reagent consumption, the solid is intensively mixed before the washing process and at the same time sprayed with an emulsifier, substantially in the absence of water. The washing process takes place in an agitating container filled with the rinsing fluid, in which the solid material is mixed with the rinsing fluid by agitation under the simultaneous application, where appropriate, of ultrasonic waves.
