Na vnútornej ploché telesa je, uložená manžeta vytvárajúca s vybráním tlakové komoru spojené a prívodom stlačeného vzduchu,. V súčasnosti sa manipulácia s tabletami pre puzdrenie integrovaných obvodov a tranzistorov vykonává výlučné ručme. Manipulácia s tabletami nevyžaduje žiadnu úroveň špeciálneho zaškolenia, avšak táto práca je monotónna a ubíjajúca. Závažným faktorem je, že termosettoká hmota na puzdreinie je v inepolymerizovanom stave karciogénma a teda prostredie je pre obsluhu nevhodné.
