Abstract

La presente divulgación se enmarca en el ámbito de la validación de vehículos en los peajes de carretera, que también pueden denominarse sistemas de peaje. La presente divulgación incluye un método computacional automatizado para la determinación de la validez del paso de un vehículo en un peaje que incluye dos modos de detección de un vehículo, a través de medios ópticos y un dispositivo móvil que recibe una baliza inalámbrica con información única asociada al peaje y posteriormente en conexión con un servidor back-end remoto. La baliza inalámbrica es un tipo de mensaje simple que no requiere que el dispositivo móvil y un dispositivo inalámbrico fijo establezcan una conexión. Tal característica es particularmente relevante en las aplicaciones de la presente divulgación, ya que mejora en gran medida la eficacia de la recepción de la información única asociada con el peaje por parte del dispositivo móvil. La presente descripción incluye además un sistema correspondiente.
