Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método de marcaje de un hidrocarburo de petróleo añadiendo a y mezclando con dicho hidrocarburo de petróleo un marcador químico de fórmula general (<strong>I</strong>) en donde dos de los restos <strong>R</strong><strong>1 </strong>- <strong>R</strong><strong>10 </strong>se seleccionan independientemente entre sí entre alcoxi C1-C4, y ocho de los restos <strong>R</strong><strong>1 </strong>- <strong>R</strong><strong>10 </strong>se seleccionan independientemente entre sí entre el grupo que consiste en hidrógeno y alquilo C1-C4, así como a una composición de un hidrocarburo de petróleo que comprende un hidrocarburo de petróleo y al menos un marcador químico de fórmula general (<strong>I</strong>). La presencia y concentración del marcador químico de fórmula general (<strong>I</strong>) en la composición del hidrocarburo de petróleo puede determinarse ventajosamente mediante ionización por láser acoplada a espectrometría de masas o ionización por láser acoplada a espectrometría de movilidad iónica.
