Abstract

Se suministra un método y sistema para determinar la posición de un sistema de bombeo de varilla de succión sin un dispositivo de detección de posición durante el bombeo de producción. Un sistema de control de bombas del sistema de bombeo de varilla de succión incluye un controlador acoplado a una base de datos, con el controlador configurado para accesar un valor de torque rxless en la base de datos. Con el valor de torque rxless almacenado representativo de puntos de palanca del brazo del brazo del cigüeñal durante un ciclo de bombeo de calibración inicial, el controlador además está configurado para tomar muestras continuamente del valor de torque rxless del sistema y determinar la posición del brazo del cigüeñal en relación con la muestra del valor de torque rxless.
