Abstract
Un método para examinar la morfología de una superficie de tejido usando un sistema que puede incluir una fuente de luz, un polarizador, un analizador y una cámara con una pluralidad de elementos de fotografía. El método ilumina la superficie del tejido con una luz incidente a través del polarizador. La cámara puede capturar a través del analizador la luz dispersada de la superficie del tejido en una secuencia continua de cuadros de imagen. La variación del estado de polarización puede ser al menos uno de (1) la luz incidente de la fuente de luz mediante la variación del polarizador o (2) la luz dispersada de la superficie del tejido mediante la variación del analizador. Durante la captura, para un elemento de fotografía de la cámara, una señal de intensidad variable de la luz dispersada es detectada la cual responde a la variación del estado de polarización.
