Abstract

Una herramienta empaquetadora posee tres o más mordazas (58) distribuidas pareja- mente alrededor de un mandril (11). Cada mordaza comprende dos miembros (66) con dientes de agarre (63) los cuales, salvo en una mordaza (58’), poseen típicamente la capacidad de morder el entubado del pozo en sentidos axiales contrarios. La mordaza restante tiene solo un miembro con dientes con capacidad de agarre al entubado mientras que el otro miembro de la mordaza posee dientes falsos (97) carentes de capacidad de agarre. Estos últimos dientes poseen bordes romos o redondeados (98) y que no están orientados en algún sentido selectivo de agarre como los dientes filosos (64) de los restantes miembros de mordaza.
