Abstract
La presente invención está dirigida a un dispositivo para guiar un taladro para formar una abertura en un hueso, que comprende un cuerpo que se extiende desde un extremo distal hasta un extremo proximal, el cual cuerpo incluye una luz que se extiende a través del mismo, la cual luz tiene tamaño y forma adecuados para dar lugar de forma deslizable a un cable guía en su interior y una pluralidad de brazos que se extienden proximalmente desde el extremo proximal, los cuales brazos están dispuestos alrededor de la luz con una superficie de agarre de cada brazo espaciada radialmente desde un eje de la luz del cable guía en una distancia aproximadamente correspondiente a un espesor de un cable guía que va a ser recibido allí dentro, las cuales superficies de agarre aferran el cable guía manteniendo una porción del mismo que se extiende proximalmente de la luz a lo largo del eje de la luz.
